EASY to USE EASY CLEAN COMPACT NO FUSS
ITEM lock mechanism is either defective on this one or engineered wrong . In lock mode, it comes out easily ! gently touching item removes it from lock mode so i've asked for a replacement and was granted. Lock mode when clicking IN is VERY weak, almost like it's used this one. Machine comes out of lock position TOO EASY but yay they will send me another one . Product SAVES counter space ! I mean it's great looking, super compact so NO huge machine here. It's nice to be able to have it Mobile and walk it t kitchen table etc. Chopper is very fast and works as described. 2 speeds. NO fuss . Easily gets through foods. The blades do achieve good consistency for chopped foods. The charging port is in the front which is a little odd, but it seems to really hold a great charge. Best of all for me this product is VERY easy to clean, and it's easy to Disassemble and there is no scrubbing in small places. Food easily comes out. The rubber feet do tend to not grip on the granite counter, top if its damp. The FEET could have been made better or larger for better grip power. I would like to have seen the blade shaft CLICK in and HOLD so when you dump the food out it holds. perhaps the next model they will re-design some issues.

Great customer service
At first I couldn't get it to start, even though it seemed like everything had clicked into place. I called customer service and got a woman, Jewel N, who was awesome. She got on in front of her and we took mine apart and back together and I did what she said and like a miracle, it worked! Over and over! She was so calming. It really chops up stuff fast. I was making a mirepoix and I should have stopped sooner! I am now very happy with it. I wish it felt a little more solid, and silky in its movements, but that's not enough to lose a star. If you want to exchange it, you can send it to Kitchen Aid. They'll send you a postage paid label. Probably FedEx. But to just return for credit, you can have Amazon pick it up. Meanwhile, I can't wait to use it again. I have to find that review that talked about how to take the lid apart to clean under the black plastic. I wash everything by hand, so no problems.

Tossed my giant food processor for this - It's the best!
I had a giant, 9 cup, 20 lbs food processor that I was looking to trade for a smaller, compact processor, and bought this little guy. I'm literally obsessed with it. Is it weird for a little kitchen appliance to bring me genuine joy? Have I really reached that level of adulthood? I don't care. It's small, light, and cute! I have already used it for so many things, since I can just pull it out of my cabinet with one hand, and it's not a whole to-do. It chops and purees so well, and is so QUICK! Have already chopped onions, shallots, peppers, have made cucumber puree (to make cucumber juice for a cocktail), and blitzed sugar with lavender and lemon zest for a cake. I was worried I would get annoyed that I had to hold the button down, and it wouldn't just run on it's own, but whatever you're chopping or pureeing is done before you can even think about it. This is the perfect size for me and what I have used it for. I'm a two person household, but I also imagine that the next size up might be worth the extra $10, if you generally cook larger quantities. Highly recommend!

Greatest Chopper Ever!
I highly recommend this 3.5 cup chopper. I love to cook but hate to cut onions. I have been through many choppers in my adult life. This one takes the cake. It's fast, and easy to clean. I've even chopped chicken in it for chicken salad. One thing I don't understand is why and how they charge so much more for different colors. Hopefully they all perform the same.

Works great but tricky to use
Once all is properly in place, it works great. However, If you have to to chop more than one load, it won't work unless the lid and rim are perfectly clean. Also, it works best with the chopper half full. That said, a few pulses of what you're chopping, and it's done. It chops things quite fine. I always have leftover cabbage from cooking it in corned beef broth. I hate waste so I chop to make coleslaw.

Kitchen Aide food chopper is amazing
I have to chop food several times a day, because a family member has choking issues. The 5 cup chopper is the right size and accurately chops meat, vegetables and fruits with precision. Easy to clean and fits nicely on the countertop. Very happy with this purchase.

For what it is, perfect
Actually, I only use it for one thing, to smooth out chunky red and green chile sauces for tamales, I don't like chunky on tamales. Really, that's it, but it's worth it to avoid hauling out the heavy food processor (and then cleaning it up) for one jar of sauce. Works fine, very good.

Love it, hope it has a long life.
I love this 50's vibe with this color, and it works great.I don't know where the bad reviews come from. I had a different type from another company that lasted for 20 years. Never thought it would die, but it finally did and I had to say a sad goodbye. I would hope for the same longevity with this one, but things don't last they way they did in the 50's, or 90's for that matter, right! I love the two speeds, the easy tap to the top of the handle to start, it doesn't take up too much space and it's easy to clean. I especially love the way you can rotate the cord around and in the bottom groove to keep counter clear of long wonky cords. Recommend it thus far, and hope to say the same in a few years.

Great little chopper! Quick to charge, stays charged, easy to clean, chops all sorts of veg, fruit, nuts, cheese. So much easy to use than my big food processor. Recommend and would buy again and it’s rechargeable and cordless

Powerful for a small appliance
This is a great mini chopper! I have had a few different mini choppers but this one tops them all. Powerful, two settings for chopping or pureeing, easy to clean and heavy duty. Highly recommend it and I use it almost daily.

Handy in the Kitchen!!
This cordless chopper is an excellent addition to our kitchen. Easy to clean and plenty of power. It whips cream beautifully. Fine grate of fresh parmesan takes a bit of time, but it does get there! Perfect. So much better than store bought. It has not failed to give good results in all our uses since it arrived.. The cordless usage is wonderful. Only cons: It is very loud when dealing with hard materials and lightweight, as in would dance around it not firmly held when chopping the hard foods, but the actual results are top notch, so those two points are not a big concern.

Powerful for size
my wife my wife makes frozen mango kefir smoothies every second night and it handles the Frozen mango no problem. Probably got about four to five nights a lot of it before it says it needs a charge about the frozen fruit I'm sure gives it a workout. Only Improvement could be the plastic handle on the cup is tad thin.
