Same problem as the previous two commentators.
The shower looks beautiful but I have the exact problems mentioned by the other two reviews. When the water is turned on, the head shoots up in the ceiling and it even broke our exhaust fan. It should have a stopper or something but the contractor did not find it. Also the hand held shower is ridiculously tall. I'm 5.6 and I have to stretch to pick it up from the cradle. And there is no way to mount it lower. Or is it????? I'm very disappointed. UPDATE: I called the company and they told me that the contractor has to tighten a certain screw, one that is behind the hand held shower head craddle. It seems to have worked although we haven't started to use it. The problem with the height of the handheld shower head I solved it by buying a Suction Cup Shower Head Wall Mount Holder which we installed lower, at a reasonable height. I also bought a longer shower cord for it just to make sure I have enough length. I'll bump it up a star.

Not designed for showers; not sure for bath tub either
The holder for the removable shower head is way too high up the pole and is not moveable. The product is beautiful but upon install realized that if valves are placed at proper level for a standing shower, the removable shower head is fixed too high for children or even short adults. Would be more appropriate for a tub except this configuration does not come with the bathtub faucet or a valve to redirect water to one.

Riser literally rises when in use
This shower is truly a work of art. However, the riser is adjustable, which is great in theory but when in use, it rises with the water pressure and hits the ceiling. My contractor tightened the bit as much as possible but it did not make a difference.

Not what I expected.
Doesn't work unless you have rear access to the shower to make connections as it doesn't have a rough in valve. Heard of other issues from my plumber. Go with something else like a Delta.

Beautiful Fixture, but pathetic documentation
These are beautiful pieces of fixtures. We bought CCK2661 model which is the same as this one except it has a faucet. The build looks good. The kit was complete except some washers were missing; nothing biggie. The water flow from faucet is very good, should fill the tub very quickly. However there are few issues that buyers need to be aware off. First the documentation that comes with the product or available on Kingston Brass Website is totally useless and inadequate. One issue that others have also mentioned in there reviews is the issue with the shower riser rod expanding (or rising) automatically when the water flows. Initially when my plumber installed it, the rising shower rod looks rather cool. However you quickly realize that this cannot be a feature. Most likely your shower will riser will rise high enough to hit the ceiling which in lot of homes is only 8ft high. That does not make any sense. There should a way to set the shower riser at a fixed height. And there is just not mentioned in any of the manuals. Digging around on Internet and looking at some reviews I finally figured how to do it. This is high you do it: Extend the shower riser to the height you want it to stay at. There is a screw/pin that needs to be tightened to hold the riser at this height. This screw/pin is hidden as it also doubles as the piece that also holds the hand held holder. To access it, you unscrew the hand held shower holder. Once the handheld holder is unscrewed, you will notice that the pin it was mounted on is itself a screw which can be tightened using a Philips screwdriver. Tighten this screw/pin and it should now hold the shower head a fixed height. The other problem that most people have mentioned is the location of the hand held shower is a bit too high. It should have been place lower. It works for my households but my wife and daughter have to get on tippy toes to get to it which is not at all convenient while taking bath. Other than the above issues this is a great fixture for the price.

Lousy customer service!
The description says that this is for wall mount installation, but the coupling that goes through the wall is too short to accommodate for wall material and tile. Sent an email to Kingston Brass Tech Support and Jorge replied that this faucet is for tub wall installation only. Nowhere in the description is this mentioned! He then suggested that I should buy some ugly swivel elbows from them to make this work. I showed the picture of the elbows to my plumber and he said that it would look strange to add them to the faucet. So I have emailed Jorge at Tech Support several times to ask for another solution, but haven't received a reply in over a week now! I will probably send this faucet back and buy something else from a business with better customer service. So my advise is: Do not buy this faucet if you plan to use it on a structural wall like in a walk in shower. It can only be used on a tub wall according to their tech support...

Not for wall mount installation and shower head rises
Two things, both mentioned in other reviews. 1) Kingston Brass says this fixture is for a tub mount installation only, not a wall, so you'll need to extend the components that go into the wall to get the correct thickness. Customer service also told me to buy the elbow attachments, which don't solve the problem properly. It's not advertised correctly, and the company doesn't offer the correct solution either. Our plumber had to find the right components to extend the length of the components that go in the wall. 2) The shower head rises with water pressure. We spent an afternoon trying to tighten the set screw behind the handheld component, but we couldn't see the type of screw and despite everything we tried (phillips, flat, hex, torx) we couldn't get it to work. Instead, I unscrewed the vertical component over the handheld attachment (on the telescoping piece), lifted up the plastic sleeve and brass sleeve, pushed wire into the plastic sleeve to act as a shim, and then tightened everything back down. This created enough friction to stop the shower head from rising. It's a hack but it works. Overall, a beautiful fixture and I'm happy I have it now that I got everything to work, but it's SUCH a pain I would never order from them again.

Horrible design, bad customer service, misleading advertising
OMG worst design ever. Same issue with rising shower head as other reviewers and despite being advertised as wall mount certainly is not. $$$ redoing plumbing and still not finished.
