Lovely casual shoe, but runs large.

These shoes are sooo comfortable, but they run large - as pointed out in item reviews. I bought them to put custom orthotic inserts in them. I typically buy size 10 casual shoes, so I ordered Sz 9.5. They were falling off my heels. I reordered a Sz 9 and they're perfect with the inserts.

comfortable shoes, nice look — but seems worn/damaged

These shoes are comfortable and I love the style. They definitely run large; I like the toe room but there is too much space in the ankle even if it is tied tightly. The biggest issue is that the leather has an uneven appearance. The leather by the shoelaces is smooth, and the leather above the toes has a mottled, bumpy appearance with a large line across it on one shoe(see photo). I am not sure if the shoe was used (it was marked as new) or if it was damaged. I thought I'd get over it so I kept the shoes, but it doesn't look nice. I wish I had returned it for a better quality shoe.

Defective

The left shoe is perfect, just what I expect from Keen. The right shoe is a different story. It does not match the left shoe, which has smooth leather. The leather on the right one is pebble grain, the insole is lumpy, and it appears to be very warn. Five stars for the left shoe, zero for the right. I will return them.

Comfortable

Love these shoes, feels like walking around in slippers but with keen foot support.

Super soft leather

I am a painter and bought these to wear with my painter whites. They are very comfortable to work in all day. Good Arch support. Run true to size. But due to the super soft leather, expect some side to side stretch.

1/2 size down fit best.

I’d call this shoe a cross between a chukka and a sneaker. Very comfy insole, but not much arch support. The insole is removable, so can be replaced if needed. I just added an arch cookie. Looks great with jeans. Very happy with this purchase.

Wonderful shoes, but they run a bit large. (I've already reordered in a slightly smaller size!)

I wanted a comfortable, warm fall shoe with good traction, and this is perfect! Unfortunately it runs a bit large, so I've reordered two of this style (but different colours), in a half size down. Two other pairs that I've ordered, in the wrong size, I've been unable to cancel due to a website glitch which prevents revealing the little box to click on to do so. So I'll just have to wait until they randomly arrive, and send them off again, a waste of everyone's resources. I hope the glitch gets fixed! These shoes are fabulous. Note they run a bit large.

Schöner Schuh, unbedingt eine Größe kleiner bestellen!

Ich habe sehr breite Füße und somit grundsätzlich Probleme, Schuhe zu finden, die nicht wie orthopädische Oma- Schlappen aussehen. Diese Schuhe finde ich zeitlos schön, sie passen prima zu Jeans und haben eine für mich passende Weite. Das Leder ist allerdings sehr dünn und eher nicht für kältere Tage geeignet. Leuten mit schmalen Füßen wird dieser Schuh in jedem Fall zu weit sein, das sollte man vor dem Kauf wissen. Auch wichtig, unbedingt eine Nummer kleiner als gewohnt bestellen! Ich hatte zuerst Zweifel, als ich das in den Rezessionen gelesen hatte, aber im Endeffekt bin ich froh, dass ich es gemacht habe, denn die Größe ist vollkommen ausreichend.

very comfortable shoes

On the very first day I went to a traditional festival and danced vigorously for more than half an hour. The shoes performed fantastically well- they are very soft, lightweight and the traction is amazing. My wide feet felt extremely comfortable inside and tightly snuggled on the outside. Not a single sore spot. If I had to pick a flaw is that the leather on the heel is a bit too low for my liking but I'm used to it now. I should also say that it is a shoe with character, timeless, untouched by ephemeral trends. If your style is like that, definately consider investing. It doesn't go well with all my clothes but with the right outfit it definately makes a statement.I find they go great with jeans and skirts. They are extremely large, though. I usually wear size 39 and these are a 37.5! I had to return an 38.5 and get the right size.
