My son loves this watch

My son loves this Garmin watch. However, he goes to watch bands every 4 months. The generic watchband never worked and he has lost the computer part of the watch before. I wish the price was lower, especially for repeat buyers.

Code Redeemed

This is my second band bought from the Garmin store directly through Amazon (no 3rd party sellers) with a code that had already been redeemed by someone else. The box does not appear tampered with but the code has been used already which stinks since you spend this much on the official bands that are supposed to come with new maps and locations. Quite disappointing. Otherwise, the band is the exact same as the originals and they do easily last about a year as long as your kid doesn't chew them or snap off the strap keeper.

Excellent band

I recently noticed a hole in my son's band. We all have Garmin fitness trackers in my household so I knew a new band was in order. After visiting the Garmin site, the major difference was shipping. Here on Amazon, that exact band would be in my hands before the Garmin site would even be finished processing the shipment. That was a no-brainer. The order was placed here... This is the original Garmin Black Panther series band. It's very well made and fits as described. He has not had any skin reactions from the material either. As rough as my kid is, the first one lasted 2 years, wearing every day. Overall the benefit of ordering here is the faster shipping. The price is the same at both locations, and there is a surprise in the box.
