Great Toy But I Wanted Red!
I bought it twice and both times it was blue. There is no color preference to select. I want the red one to replace my old dogs red one. Wish there was a color preference but two blue will have to do, not trying a third time.

Dogs love it
It was bigger than I thought when I ordered which was a plus and the dogs love them. I got them on sale so it was a great deal and so far they are still together..which is not easy with my dogs. I would definitely recommend

Durable dog toy , if they made Squeaker better.
I have found a fix, for squeaker issue. My dog is a very aggressive chewer. Within days, the squeaker ends up, on the inside of these toys, because they don't seem to be glued in very good. So...the other day. I fixed all four of my dogs cuz toys, both old and new by carefully putting super glue around the outside edge of squeaker. I was careful not to get any glue on the inside middle hole that most likely effects the sound of squeaker. I let them dry over night. My older cuz toys I think , have a better squeaker in them and weigh about 4 oz more. But I'm glad they still make this product. My dog can chew away and the squeaker continues to work.. if I have to re-glue once a year , its still worth it. Very few dog toys are made with integrity or durability...this one comes very close....thankyou JW..

My Malamute's favorite squeaky toy, but this is NOT a chew toy (don't treat it as such)
I didn't know dogs could establish brand loyalty, but the Bad Cuz line are my Malamute's preferred squeaky toys. For my dog, these are an outdoor toy as the squeakers are extremely loud. They'll drive you insane pretty quick if you let them indoors. One thing to note, and I think it might resolve a lot of the problems people are seeing with this toy. THIS IS NOT A CHEW TOY. The Bad Cuz is meant to be used as a playtime toy. You throw it, your dog brings it back to you. You throw it again. You should not allow your dog to have this toy for an extended time to just sit and chew on. It's not meant for that. I have had one - what I'd consider - dangerous squeaky failure. My mally managed to chew the toy just right and the squeaker fell out whole. However, that toy was years old at this point (I've been buying this particular toy for over 6 years now) and cracked. I have had the squeakers fail (I think the membrane got ripped), but this was the first - and only - time it came out whole. I'd say the average lifespan of these toys is around 2 to 3 years if left out in the elements. The rubber starts to crack and turn somewhat sponge-y as time goes by. If you bring them indoors and keep them safe from prolonged sun or wetness, they'd probably last indefinitely. If you have a slobbery dog, these do get slimey. I prefer the Bad Cuz to the other Cuz ball specifically because of the configuration of the feet. I tie a throw rope around the feet so I can grab something that isn't covered with dog slobber.

Did not even last a day with my Doberman
My dog loves these toys, but the quality is not the same as it was 10 years ago. The toy we had left over from our last dog, lasted our new dog almost a year before she chewed the feet off. These new ones the feet are hollow.. I guess to save money. Because of this they are far less durable I bought 2 new ones for my dog for Christmas and she chewed the feet off of both almost instantly. I had to cut the rest of the feet off so she wouldn’t eat them. Also on this model the beeper valve pushed inside so now it doesn’t beep anymore, and doesn’t have feet.

Squeaker was done in 10 minutes- NOT what I expected!
We had one previously, so I bought 3 for our dogs and a friend. Our 35 lb terrier mix had squeaker popped out of hole in 10 minutes. NOT the durability of the first ball we had. Very disappointed.

The sturdiest dog toy I’ve ever bought
This dog toy gives so much enjoyment and exercise to my dog. It is very sturdy and stands up to the weather and my dog.

Supervision, adaptation and preparation are the keys
My dog loves these and as a result, I've used them for years. He will roll on his back and hold the ball in his front paws and occasionally tosses it to himself. We also play fetch and he loves to chew on it. I too have had friends almost lose their dog because of intestinal blockages that's why the next part of this review is so important. Yes a dog can easily take the feet off very quickly that's why YOU, the owner, need to cut them off first. The squeaker lasts for about 15 minutes before he has it removed and I remove it from the play area. My dog has learned that if he tears up the 'ball' (that's what's left after you remove the extremities) he loses it for a while. I put it where he knows where it is but not get it for a day or two. (When I first started doing this it took longer to make an impression) After the 'time out' he gets to play with it again. If he starts tearing it up again (not too hard to figure out if pieces are missing) he loses it yet again. Keep this up and make sure your dog is SUPERVISED (you don't have to watch all the time, with a little practice you will be able to hear the difference between chewing and tearing pieces of rubber away from the toy) during the time he/she spends with the ball and you will be much more successful.

Bad cuz
I thought this toy would be more popular with my dog but he isn't that fussed.I think it's cute and is made of strong stuff he hasn"t made any damage so far but that is maybe why he can't be bothered as he likes to destroy. It is a bit hard to squeak which is probably a blessing as it is not a nice noise. A little expensive I feel but if it lasts it may be worth it

Not so tough
To be fair my dog doesn't play so much as tries to destroy, feet were gone in under an hour closely followed by the ears, that said I've given 3 stars as the rest of it is proving tough to destroy.

Tough toy for big dogs.
our three inc. a GSD love these. The feet get chewed off, but the squeakers generally last a while, and our oldest Cuz is still overall intact and the GSD's favourite. Not indestructible, but we find lasts longer than most toys.

I bought this for a springer that can reduce most squeaky toys to small pieces in a very short space of time so I had no great hopes that this would be different. However it was much heavier and more solid than I had realised and although she's had it for a week she has only managed to bite the tips of the 'ears' off so far. I was very worried that the large size would be too big for her to hold and it was so hard that I had to stand on it to make it sqeak. Being soft I bought 2 other presents as back-up in case she didn't like it but I'm told she runs round the house with it in her mouth making it sqeak and hasn't even attempted to bite the feet off yet so I count this toy a big success. (One of the back-up toys is already in the bin as she took less than a day to get all 3 squeakers out of it and start de-stuffing it, the other one she's not really interested in, so much for them)

Brilliant for chewers!
Awesome product. I have 2 bull terriers that are heavy chewers and can take a squeaker out of anything, they can't take this one out. Their favourite toy by far. They have managed to take a foot off one of them, but they still love it. Highly recommend.
