LOVE IT!
This trash can is awesome! Recycling is big in my area and this made a huge difference. The inside cans are a little smaller (so if you have a bigger family maybe not the best) but that doesn’t really effect us. The bag can slip if you don’t put it in right but doesn’t happen if you don’t over stuff! I like it because the bag isn’t full when it looks full so I still have room for smaller trash cans to fill it after I take it out of the canister.

No more smelly trash!
I have never been happier with receiving the wrong order! My original purchase was for the bin without the filters, mostly due to the fact that it was “on sale” and wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy filters however often. Much to my surprise when I opened the box and found the built-in filters! I am so glad to not have the smell of stinky trash and recycling in my home! I like that it doesn’t take up a lot of space. At first I was nervous that the bins would be too small but now I feel that they are an okay size, however it’s only me and my roommate living in the house so we don’t produce that much trash to begin with. I haven’t found any problems with lifting the bins out of the main compartment. I also really like the notch to tuck the bag into the bin. It’s worked well for me so far without the bag falling in the bin, which was one of the main issues with my old bin. I also purchased this bin because I saw someone else’s review about it being good for keeping pets out of the trash. I haven’t proven that yet, my family’s dog is a huge trash picker and I was constantly hiding the trash bin whenever I needed to dog-sit. She hasn’t been over since the pandemic started but I’m hoping for the best! It’s definitely a solid bin overall and it doesn’t look all that terrible to have on display in my small kitchen. The only critique I have to give is that it does shift, just ever so slightly, on my flooring and I try to keep it from bumping into the wall. I’m pretty sure that can easily be solved with a floor mat ???? Hope this review helps in your search!

They Work
These do what they are supposed to do. I will never understand why garbage cans cost so much, but these are good for the money when you compare to others.

Bins are very small
The dual bins are very small, half the size as my previous trash can that was also “touchless”. Touchless equals foot pedal, not motion detection. The lid opens when you apply pressure on the foot pedal. How clever. (Like every other trash can on the market.) In order to get the bins out you must reach both hands into and on either side of the bin find the square cut outs to lift bin upward and out. Not really a big deal. The big deal comes when you attempt to remove the trash bag. The instructions say not to overstuff the trash can. This is most likely said due to the fact you will most likely feel an urge to overstuff the trash can because it’s probably half the capacity you are used to so when you go to remove the bag with the overstuffed trash you will probably need to hold the bottom of the bin with your feet so both hands are free to pull, pull, pull the trash bag out. Whew! The company sells customs bags for the cans but I am still using what I have on hand. They’re a little big but I take the excess and stuff it into the little hole on the side. The recycle bin sits next to the trash with a divider between them. The lids goes up and down on both, there are two foot pedal and the stainless steel is smudge/fingerprint resistant. Overall the can is bigger than my last one and I am glad not to have two individual cans in the kitchen anymore. I think it’s a bit pricey considering there are other cans on the market that are comparable and anywhere from $10-$30 cheaper than this one. I kinda wish I would have bought one of those so I could have saved my $10-30. Honestly, not a big fan but I’ll deal with it.

Very nice product—much better than expected
I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this one. I really wanted a dual can but was worried after reading reviews that said the bags were hard to get into the cans. I’ve ended up being very happy with my purchase. I’ve had the can three months now. It arrived in perfect condition—no dents. Maybe they improved the packaging since others complained. 13-gallon trash bags fit these bins. There is a hole to tuck the excess width at the top of the bag into and the bins then fit neatly inside with no bag showing. They aren’t too hard to remove unless I overfill the recycling and it’s too packed in there. I just have to remember not to be lazy, and take the trash out regularly! The dual can takes up less space that the two cans I had there previously. They are a bit smaller than what I had before and if you have a large household you’ll be taking the trash out a lot but for me it works very well. I was surprised at how many comments I got from friends and family about how great it looked and I even started a trend with other friends purchasing similar cans because they liked mine so much. I got a couple of magnets to put on the lids to identify trash v recycling and now guests don’t have to ask any more which is which.

Good containers but small
Good cans, but they do not hold much in them. We have to empty them every day. Might be good for an apt with 1 person.

Serves its purpose
Other than being dented in several areas (I don’t remember if I bought a returned one) it serves its purpose. I needed a trash can that would keep my dane out. This works perfect.

Trash can upgrade
Never thought I’d get excited about a trash can but this dual container warrants it. It looks nice, offers a solution to having a bag on my door handle for recyclable items, and is easy to open and easy to put bags in and to get bags out. The individual containers pull up and out easily. It is just a perfect option for a necessary item. I’m glad I decided to spend the money on this quality product. It is worth the investment. I added the magnetic labels shown in the picture to avoid problems for guests in my home. I would buy it again and highly recommend it.

Black & Blue, it is True
This Trash Can / Recycle Bin works as described, just as I had hoped. It is the perfect size for my kitchen in all ways. It was somewhat expensive but I hope it continues to function the way it does for a long time. I do like the look / design of this Trash Can / Recycle Bin which is not something that is usually said concerning something to hold garbage. After all of the other Trash Can / Recycle Bins I have had, this one makes me happy.

Not as advertised - hard to change bags
The photo shows the liners with holes in them and says "Tuck & Hold keeps Heavy, Full Bag in Place". Mine arrived with 2 black bins with no holes in the them so changing the bags is difficult. It is made difficulty because as you put the liner back in with a new bag in it, the air being forced out of the stainless steel body by the bin liner going in pushes the empty bag sides up and the lid won't close. I actually returned a can like this for the same reason and bought this one. Otherwise it looks nice and works OK but changing the bags is a pain.

Love this can, once you get used to putting the bags in and taking them out it goes fairly quickly looks great in my kitchen matches my appliances love the soft close lids. A little on the pricey side could be cheaper but all in all nice garbage can.
