Nice length. The black ends are plastic/hard - I was expecting silicone/soft. The plastic/hard is probably good for most cooks, but that's not what I wanted these for. I'm handicapped & drop stuff in places where I can't pick it back up. I discovered that silicone tongs are lighter weight & a softer end enables them to pick up even a wispy bit of fuzz. They are easier to use than the much more expensive tool marketed as reach extenders. Also, the construction of this one seems a bit more flimsy than a sturdier set I own.

Can't get along without my TONG!!!

This tong is one of my most used utensils! It is perfect for so many things, and I especially like the black covering on the ends of the tongs. They will not scratch any of your cookware and they are great for the Barbecue grill also. I am short, thus have short arms, and this tong has become my extra arm in the kitchen!

Not silicone!

Disappointing; not top quality as reflected in the low price. The tips are hard plastic, not silicone; as can be seen on the right, there is no protective outside grip; and the arms come together and pinch your fingers. Contemplating return.

IMUSA Stainless Food Tongs = D-

Please don't buy these IMUSA black-tipped tongs. I have many pair - some with coated tips and some without (some are at least 8 years old) but these are by far the worst ones I've had. They are flimsy, the coating does not grab well and the end piece - that you use to open and close the tongs, often takes several tries to make it work when it should be 1 swift, clean motion. Because of the unreliability of the open/close mechanism I was pinched a few times and that has never happened with any of my others. One day of using these was enough for me and I have contacted Amazon about returning them. The length is good, I can say that. Disappointed - I thought IMUSA was a reputable brand.

Save your $...

I just learned my lesson. When it comes to kitchen tools go to a store which specializes in them. These are a nice length however, they don’t open as wide as my other pair & they will pinch your hand if you’re not being careful. Can’t recommend them.

Las pinzas no son de silicona, es plástico duro y el segurito que la mantiene cerrada o abierta no sirve ya que no la mantiene abierta. Igual y no se espera mucho por el precio
