The perfect turntable

I think this is one of the best items I've purchased this year! When I change the table cloth, it doesn't matter what color I use. I was totally surprised at how much we use it. You don't have to ask for the salt and pepper, or anything else to be passed. You just spend that little baby around and get what you need. Other people's meals are not being interrupted by please pass me this or that.

almost worth the five stars...

I like this well enough, and it does exactly as it meant to do - and the storage compartments on the sides are extremely useful. The center piece holds quite a few napkins, and I have several items in the side holders. They don't even need to be distributed so both sides are about the same weight. Though I did have them organized that way to begin with I have since changed things so condiments are on one side and incidentals are on the other. One side holds: salt and pepper shakers, sugar jar, toothpick holder, and honey container (honey bear from grocery store). The other side has miscellaneous items that are useful to have on the table (pen and pad, etc.). The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that it is impossible to get it to turn on a smooth surface. For some reason, unless you put a cloth under it it just sits there or else the whole thing has to be turned instead of having it rotate on the turntable base. Put a towel or table cloth under it and it rotates like a charm. I am not sure what causes this issue, but it is a simple fix so long as you don't mind having a towel under it. If you always use a table cloth anyway you'd never know it was an issue. Extremely useful and if I had two tables I would get another. If I get a patio set I would get one for outside, as it is not glass and not likely to break if moved a lot.

Spins easily, lots of room, wish it were prettier for my dining room

Love this device, very practical. I have an older home, no eat in kitchen. Only have a formal dining room. I try to make it look nice while also something to be used daily. This is nice, but wish it was nicer for a dining room that has to be informal and formal at the same time. It is a very good quality. I have used it for about 6 months now and no scratches, cracks, or discoloration. The spinner is also a very good quality. It is quiet and spins smoothly. The napkin holder is wide and deep to hold a lot of napkins. Each side of the napkin holder is the same size. On one side I have three different shakers, like parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, and another shaker. The other side I have salt and pepper shakers, with room for about 2 bottles of salad dressing when needed. It works well, keeps everything organized, and everyone can have access to everything on it.

Great addition to our table.

Corrals all the stuff on the table. Salt pepper sugar napkins spice bottles vitamins and medicine. Not sure about it's ability to turn, we don't need that.

We've been using this for over 6 months now, and I'm so glad I bought it, even though it seemed kind of expensive. Since the picture and description don't make it easy to figure out how much you can keep on it, I thought I'd add my two cents. On one side we have salt and pepper shakers, and a 100-count bottle of vitamins. On the other side, a largish container of oregano (the $1 a bottle kind), a slightly smaller bottle of cinnamon, and a 1/2 cup Rubbermaid container where we keep brown sugar. Kleenex Premium Dinner Napkins, 1 box, 50 ct - These are the best sized napkins I've found to use in it. The lunch-sized cheapo napkins that come in huge packages, such as Marcal, are a little too small and flimsy and they won't stand up. I found Vanity Fair dinner napkins that are the right size, but they only come folded in fourths and also don't stand up in it very well. The Kleenex ones are already folded in half one more time, to the shape you'd put under a fork. You can put two rows of them in the holder and they stay much neater looking. Highly recommend, if you're trying to get your kitchen table under control.

Does not rotate

The container is sturdy and easy to clean and store but the bottom of the tray is not elevated enough to permit spinning.

it's a great size & holds a spoon container

My napkins fell over, but I glued two strips of clear plastic inside that extend the height about 2 inches & solved that. The other problem I had was with the entire turntable slipping when I tried to turn it, but I solved that with a circle of non slip material glued to the base. Other than that, it's a great size & holds a spoon container, salt & pepper, sugar, a small square container of instant coffee & tea bags, & a small butter dish along it's sides. I use it in our RV so that everything can be brought to the table in one easy motion & returned to the cupboard when moving.

PERFECT LITTLE ORGANIZER

We have a really small house with very little storage. Anything that not only helps to store, but also present and easily use different small items is ideal. We keep napkins, salt and pepper, toothpicks, and plastic utensils in it in the pantry and place it on the table during mealtime. Very easy to keep clean.
