Does NOT shut electric automatically
First I like the color and size. It is a good size if you just want a single serving. And, red is my favorite color. I have a number of red accents in my kitchen. I did know it does not shut off on its own. So I’ve had to be extra careful. I like how it looks like a miniature sized coffee maker. I am enjoying the product of coffee it produces. I would choose it again if I were in the market. I gave it four stars because of the lack of a self shutdown feature.

Terrific coffeemaker
This little coffeemaker is amazing! When I opened the box and saw it's tiny size I was skeptical but the mini size can fool you. This is just as good as the standard ones and is perfect for use by one person and/or in a small kitchen. It takes up very little space on the counter and the permanent filter basket is an added bonus. No more of those floppy, white paper things! You can easily pour water into the tank without it dripping all over. It also brews quite fast and makes delicious (and HOT) coffee. I particularly like the metallic red front of the machine which goes perfectly with my other metallic red kitchen appliances. I hope this coffeemaker lasts a long time because it's a winner. Order one for yourself - you won't be disappointed.

Cute, compact, passable coffee
When I bought a “5 cup coffee maker” my goofy self did not think that meant 5 metric cups. Basically it makes 1 and half to 2 actual cups of coffee. It’s perfect if you’re not a huge coffee drinker and live alone or with one other person with limited space in your kitchen. Easy to clean, easy to use, coffee tastes just fine. The color is the real selling point, very cute

More like 5 faux cups!
Much to my dismay the 5-cup carafe is more like 4 1/3 cups! I just wish they would have made it clear beings i had a couple of accidents as a result. I mean just think you believe you are making 5 cups but it's really less. You know a cup should be a cup Amazon!

Size Doesn't Matter
This coffee maker is really pretty good. I love the size. I love the color and am still making up my mind about how it works. It's been the only coffee maker that doesn't produce really hot coffee. The coffee temperature is a little over lukewarm. I hoped, since the instructions remind the user to turn off the unit because it remains heating the coffee. I haven't tried keeping the lukewarm coffee on for any length of time. I pour it after it has expired from the process. After reading other reviews, some said they used paper filters with this unit. I tried to do that, but ended up with a coffee mess. I think the filter that comes with this product works perfectly. Adding the filter obviously doesn't allow for the liquid to drain as quickly with the additional filter. I tried the paper filter to make cleaning the filter easier. As it is, it isn't that much different. Just getting used to a different way of making coffee. The flavor remains the same in this as it does in any other. I would have given it 5 stars but for the coffee temperature.

Good product. The company doesn't stand behind their product.
I loved this little coffee maker. It was perfect. When I tried to buy a replacement carafe due to a crack in the glass, I called Holstein's. A very nice customer service person took my information and I was told I would be sent a whole new replacement as they don't replace just the carafe. A couple of weeks went by with no carafe delivery so I called the company back. Then I was told they don't sell to the public. I would have to send the original upc code, and I don't have that anymore. Needless to say, I am buying a whole new coffee maker when all I wanted to do was buy the carafe. The company must have some problems, as I was told two different policies from two different people. Good product, but maybe not so much the company that stands behind it. Upon buying a second Holstein coffee pot, this time thru the company itself, they shipped it in the box, no other box around it, and it was punctured. There was not any stabilizing material to secure it in the box to ensure its safe delivery. So disappointed in this company.

Love the color and size. Easy to use. Being a light color, you can see the splashes of coffee. No biggie. It does look cheap, which is fairly cheap in price. I don't care about that since its just me using it. It does the job. This and the last small one I purchased, the pot seems to leak out coffee when you pour, so you have to pour slowly and exactly how you should. Strange because the black and decker small one I had previously did to not do this. You could pour it quickly and slightly off the spout and it never dripped. But, again I can live with that. Looks cute tho.

Functional and Cute
For an inexpensive coffee maker, this is a cute choice. All plastic, bright color, compact and quick and quiet! The only issue I find is no automatic shut off. Looks good on my counter.

Adorable!
First off, I didn't think 5-cup was that small so it is not quite what I expected. I was expecting a cup to be 250 ml, and this looks to be 6 oz which is 180 ml, and over 5 cups, that's a big difference overall (maybe I didn't read the specs properly). That said, this thing is the cutest little coffee maker I've ever seen! I will be looking for a larger coffee maker but I am not returning this one, I will keep if for when my kid is off to college.
