Great gift for my twin granddaughters!
Great gift for my twin granddaughters! Can’t say much about their play with it as I won’t be gifting it to them for another two weeks, but it was requested by my daughter, their mother.

Cute and sturdy, but a few flaws
We love Hape toys and have lots (probably too many) of them. This is great too, but there's a few flaws. The button of the blender is really hard to push down, so it's hard for small hands to operate. The disk of fruit that go on top of the cups doesn't 'snap in' or anything, so it moves around when you put the straw in. I know this is a detail, but if you have a toddler throwing a tantrum because of it, it becomes a bigger deal. Overall, it's a great toy and we'll get lots of use of it, just one star less because of the few flaws.

Very cute, but...
I think this blender is adorable, but when it arrived, I felt it was just too "young" of a toy for our soon-to-be five-year-old boy. I would think the same-aged girl would enjoy it, as well as younger boys/girls. I think our son would play with it for about ten minutes and then look for something else to do. I wound up getting him one that can be used with water... I felt that would be more entertaining at his age. That said, I would still recommend this toy to others.

Cute, but doesn’t work the way it should
It’s cute. But it’s a poor design flaw. The little white piece inside the blender that makes it “blend” falls out every time you go to pour, which my kid loves that part. He’s 2 and doesn’t know how to put the piece back in place and if I was playing with it I wouldn’t want to have to do that every time either. Finicky product. Not my favorite.

Love all the accessories
My daughter loves drinking smoothies so this was a great addition to her kitchen set. At two she has a little hard time pushing the button to get the items to really move around but overall it is great and we love it!

Trust the mediocre reviews
I was hoping this play blender would work out even though I read a few reviews that rated it less than stellar. "It's Hape!" I convinced myself. The blender looks cool but has little playing stamina. My toddler was immediately frustrated that two pieces had to be perfectly in place for it to spin which meant always having to ask for help. Additionally, it doesn't hold water which I didn't expect to be a big deal until it was. Read that a great alternative was the Lakeshore play blender. We'll see how that goes!

Cute but hard to push button to get blender motion
I love Hape. I found this toys mechanical parts like the blender push button to be quite difficult for kids to push to get a blending motion going. So that was a bummer. Looks cute though. Strong sturdy and can take some falls.

well build but hard to press.
its very sturdy and all pieces well built. however, as others have said, the button is very hard to press down, a child will need to push down with all their body weight to make it spin once and then keep smashing it down to keep it down.

Difficult to blend

Nicely packaged, but don't let that fool you!
This product did not work properly. It was bought for a 3 year old girl, but the button is not easily pressed, even for me as an adult. No blending power whatsoever. Very disappointed. Do not buy!

Vraiment pas adapté pour les bouts de choux
Ce blender est préconisé pour les enfants à partir de 3 ans, ça tombait bien ma fille avait bientôt 3 ans et demi. Sauf que la fermeture qui conditionne la bonne utilisation du blender est mal conçue, mal pensée et inadpetée aux enfants de 3 ans. Ma fille pourtant a l'aise en matière de motricité n'arrive absolument pas à clipser le robot et a vrai dire moi aussi je suis obligée de m'y reprendre à plusieurs fois pour trouver la bonne combinaison qui verrouille (a peu près) le robot... Mais même comme ça il suffit d'un coup pour que le bol bouge et qu'il se déclipse.. C'est vraiment dommage car le fait que les 2/3 du blender soit en bois fut mon premier argument d'achat. Il faut vraiment revoir ce système de verrouillage afin de l'adapter d'avantage aux enfants et le rendre ergonomique et plus simple d'utilisation. En conclusion pour le prix payé (24€) je m'attendais a un produit de meilleurr performance.
