Protects against pouring sweat just as described. Great style in a thin band. But does produce slight tension headache.
Product arrived on time exactly as described by seller. Living in Arizona and working in a lot of situations where sweat getting into my eyes was becoming a real problem. Finally broke down and decided to try a headband, but wanted something lighter than a cotton terry cloth that would still work for my heavy sweating brow and head issues. This headband does the job great. I didn't believe at first that something so light weight and thin would control my sweating that much, but it has. I actually went from sweat pouring down my face to nothing. I has saved me a lot of issues since I work with my hands and couldn't mop my brow as often as I was needing to in order to not get blinded. The band is mostly comfortable. I got the black band and the color did not feel hotter in the sun. It's easy to fit as you wish. The shape of the band fits front to back of the head very well even if the back slides up a little sometimes. It's not distracting or makes the band looser. It fit exactly right when first started using it. It has not stretched out at all after many uses so far. I have sensitive skin too and so far the material hasn't bothered me or caused me to break out which was my main concern. By contrast I wasn't sure what band product would work so I also got a Bondi band which is much more cover along the forehead. Sometimes the extra amount of material of the Bondi seems a bit overwhelming compared to the more svelte Halo. The reason the Halo works so well is because of the diverter band. It does do the job it claims very well. I didn't get any sweat coming down my brow at all and the band never dripped even during heavy, hot working conditions. It remained evenly damp and did dry/wick quickly to avoid moisture buildup in the band as advertised. But the divertor band being it's biggest selling point is also it's weakness. Because of the tension of the divertor band after about 30 min of wearing it, it did start to induce a mild tension headache. Not enough to make me want to take it off during use, but enough to make me want to switch to the Bondi band for the next use and thereafter. The Bondi is just more comfortable for long uses. Maybe it might depend on your hairstyle how much that bothers you. My hair is mostly wavy and bounces back pretty easy from being compressed. So the Bondi band coming up and over my hairline doesn't bother me. The Halo might be for someone who definitely wants to keep the headband below the hair line. But it did give me a slight tension headache after a little while. It's very pocketable and can easily be compressed down into a thin size. However, you wouldn't want to squeeze it too much as the divertor band will start to prevent it from folding very well. Overall the Halo II has great style and functionality. I do prefer the style of it over the Bondi. I just wish it was more comfortable for long uses.

The nature of running never changes. What does change about running is the end times of the winners of the main events, generally improving over the years. I was fortunate to witness the running boom and have been a runner ever since, now at age 71 still running 10k every other day. There have been lots of changes in running gear since those times. Around the time they began talking about making marathons more accessible, there was also a real awakening as to the potential earnings that could be derived from this most basic of sports that used to cost next to nothing to do. All that was needed was something runners would wear to make them uniquely identifiable, like the logo on a shirt, a stylish pair of shorts, or a trademark running hat. There is not much else except the shoes, and that in itself has become a multi-billion dollar industry. Win a major race wearing your sponsor's product and you will be a superstar forever. Sweatbands are a good identifier. I've been wearing plain white stretchy terrycloth sweatbands for as long as I can remember simply because they work fine, and they only cost a dollar from Walmart. BTW that's two counts against Millennials ever wearing them: 1. They were stylish in the 1970's, and 2. Walmart sells them. If you prefer being stylish then you may find the Halo 2 or one of its many sibling sweatband products to your liking. My head is size 7.1/8 and my Halo 2 is a tight fit. Although stylish, it doesn't soak up all that nasty salty sweat that causes so much havoc on electronics. But they are better than wearing no sweatband at all because they channel the flood elsewhere instead of letting it all run into your eyes. They claim to help with evaporation, but in practice won't keep up with the continuous flow. However, they are stylish, and expensive, and available in several colors. I have one very good reason for wearing my black Halo 2. It is the best way I have found to wear a clip-on mini cam reliably for an entire 10k. The sweatband fits tight, and the camera will stay exactly in the position I place it from the start of the run to finish, and I get an excellent video of everything that occurred during my run. Otherwise, I'll just keep wearing my white terrycloth sweatbands.

Does not perform as well as I would like. Really thin.
So I expected something a little more heavy weight and absorbent. I am using this headband for indoor workouts. I have to wear glasses, so the sweat dripping down my face can be really annoying. This is smaller and thinner than I expected. It is made of a very thin stretchy fabric with a small heavier fabric band at the bottom to help stop the sweat dripping down your face. Being so light, it is certainly comfortable to wear; it is not tight around the head. It also dries quickly and is super easy to rinse out if needed. And it does absorb and block some of the sweat compared to nothing. I just don’t think it does so as much as I needed or wanted. It has probably decrease the number of times I have to towel off my face by about 20%—and doesn’t prevent sweat from dripping into my glasses. So I use it, don’t hate it, but not really enthusiastic about it either.

A Game Changer!
I walk every day. Living in Vegas, maintaining 130 steps per minute means (for me at least) sweat is running down my face in sheets. I've been carrying a rag in my pocket that WAS being used no less than 3 or 4 dozen times over the course of an hour. NOW, I'm only using my rag 3 or 4 times total. The silicone does in fact create a seal that stops sweat from the top of my head in its tracks before it can get in my eyes. I will be buying more of these. I highly recommend these over any conventional headband if you're looking for something to battle sweat drip.

Expensive but does the Job
Halo are overpriced as headbands go but they are well made and definitely do what they are designed to. I wear it under my cycle helmet and it prevents sweat trickling down into my eyes.

Best sweatband
Having suffered from sweat dripping in my eyes on longer rides, I found this and it has made such a difference. No bloodshot eyes even on hotter days. The only negative is that I end up with a line on my forehead afterwards, but it is a small price to pay.

Ok, but not the perfect solution
I have to admit I do pose a serious challenge. I sweat quite profusely and I have a bald head - so no hair to wick away any sweat. I have been looking for a solution to sweat in my eyes when cycling for a long time and bought this on the strength of the reviews. It performs up to a point - about 30 miniutes of fairly vigorous cycling. But, for me, the old problem appears after that point and my eyes start stinging from the sweat, yet again. I think I am exceptional in terms of my sweat issue so this may work for others. But for me, it didn't rise to the challenge and I have found my solution in a cycling cap which I now wear under my helmet and which works very well.
