No Elastic = Droopy Socks

I was hoping the socks would stay up even without the elastic tops... but they don't. Figured that I would give them a try, but it was a mistake. They are thin, non-padded dress socks. They ARE as described in the advertisement. My own fault for "hoping" they would still remain on my calves while walking, but they constantly droop down to my ankles and I find that I have to continuously pull them back up. Had to try them... but wish I had just stuck with the "Fluffies" version. You will definitely need sock straps to hold these in place over the calves. These socks are not soft like the "Fluffies" version, they feel like nylon though the ad says they have a different composition. Not my cup of tea, but maybe you don't mind wearing sock straps to hold your socks up.

I needed white dress socks. Sounds crazy but what can I say? White sports socks, no problem. There are hundreds to choose from at our local collection of departments stores. But white dress socks, forget it. I should really know better but I did check locally. Then went online and found these. I have worn gold-toes for years but never in white. These fit perfectly, are white as can be, and I now own 2 pairs. Perfect.

Non-elastic Gold Toe socks

The most important thing about these socks is that they have no elestic and are light weight. Preveiously when I bought Gold Toe Socks the elestic cut off my circulation.

If You Want Sheer, I Guess These Will Work

I've bought Gold Toe socks in the past. They were well made, thick, strong and offered some cushioning. These, on the other hand, were like nylons. I threw them away after wearing them once.

My husband likes them. They are very thin so be aware of that.

Very comfortable non-elastic top.

Apparently people with thin legs find they sag. For me, they are perfect. The cotton fabric is best for my skin. The sock size is perfect for me. I wear a 10.5 D shoe. Those "one size fit all" socks I used to find in department stores didn't fit me. They were much too tight. I hope Gold Toe makes these available forever.

Non Binding Men's socks.

My husband has a terrible time finding comfortable socks. Most of the socks today have tight elastic tops. He is of average height and build and found these Gold Toe Comfort Socks very comfortable.
