It was easy and saved a lot of money
I bought this for a wall oven that is 20 years old, the cooling fan was squeaking. My wife wanted to hire the only GE repairman in the area, we have had bad luck with him in the past. Or she wanted to replace the entire oven. I found a video on YouTube that showed someone replacing the cooling fan. It was very easy (this from a guy that once took 2 whole days to install a dishwasher). I highly recommend this to anyone having trouble with their older oven.

Noisy fan? BEWARE - try fixing it yourself first
I haven't installed this item but I know it's a good price since I shopped around and I like Amazon's return policies. My message is this: if you have the "noisy cooling fan" problem like I did - try to fix it yourself first. I took the fan out to make sure I was ordering the correct part, I ordered it, and then noticed the fan itself had edged past the end of the fan shaft. Over 14 years the plastic fan had worked its way down to the end of the shaft that spins it, and it was hitting the fan grill which was making the noise. I pushed the fan back up the fan shaft to what I guessed was the original position, re-installed it, tested it, and found out the problem was fixed. If it happens again, I will apply some super glue to hold it in place on the shaft. But I don't expect to hear anything for another 14 years. A day earlier my local appliance guy told me he had heard of this noisy fan problem before and it was definitely a bad fan and would cost around $120 for the fan and a minimum of $130 for the labor. That's why the five stars for this price. Also the local parts guys would not have taken this part back since it is "electrical". So you really want to make sure it is broken before you order the part - and when you do order it, make sure your seller will take a return if it turns out to be something else.

It seems to work.
The original fan quit working when I cleaned the oven. The plastics blades got hot/soft and slipped on the shalt so the blade were hitting the guard. This fan also has plastic blades, so I'm afraid the same thing will happen. The GE oven is just a poor design putting plastic near a 500 plus degree heat source. The good news is the new fan works and fit.

Oven Fan Motor
The old motor started making a noise. Found it by part number and amazon had it in stock. Received it in two days. Took about 15 minutes to put it in and oven is as quite as it was when it was new.

Great Customer Service!
Luna Parts ROCKS! I ordered this part on Wednesday afternoon, it was shipped on Thursday and I had it at my house on Friday. It was the correct part and was less expensive than buying it from GE. I thought I was going to have to live without my oven for a week or more. I'll absolutely order from them again if needed!

OEM Fan Assembly at a Great Price
Perfect replacement for my JTP25 series GE wall oven. The fan assembly is easy to replace - a 10 minute process. This was the best price I could find online, and you can't beat Prime 2-day shipping and confidence in Amazon's customer service.
