This shirt has several benefits for the price range in dress shirts. It isn't the cheapest solution for dress shirts, but if you want an affordable dress shirt that is sized right, this is a great option. Quality- the quality is on par with a $50 and below shirt. It isn't too thick, and it isn't too thin. I would not call this a see through shirt as I can't see my undershirt underneath this, but not so thick that it sits uncomfortable under a suit. In general, this shirt is the perfect dress shirt to wear with or without a suit jacket or blazer. The stitching is even. There isn't any particular craftsmanship or attention to detail like lined interior colors, cuff piping, etc., but then again, it isn't priced that way. It is a straight forward dress shirt that probably works best for someone that needs to go through dress shirts daily for work and therefore needs ones that are durable, look good, but won't break the bank. The only issue I had is somewhat minor, but the color was darker than the picture. I got the purple that looked like a pastel lavender in the picture, but is definitely darker in real life. Not drastically, but noticeably. Size and cut- This is where this shirt makes it totally worth the price. You get exact measurements for neck AND sleeve. That makes all the difference. Unlike other similarly priced dress shirts, this one gives you exact sleeve length so you can match cuff length perfectly with your suit jacket. With most other dress shirts in this range, you get a standardized "range" sleeve length, like 32/33", or 34/35". The problem is that is a whole inch variation range and it never works exactly as needed when you want a specific cuff length showing, such as the 1/4" to 1/2" I prefer showing, sitting right at my wrist. They also have a lot of neck and sleeve size combinations, such as my very difficult to find 16 1/2" with 33" sleeve. No longer do I have to bring a shirt in to a tailor with longer sleeves to accommodate the neck size and have them shorten the sleeves. I have read several people saying that this shirt isn't a true slim fit. In my opinion it is absolutely a slim fit for my body type. I am about 5'10" 180lbs, with very defined chest, shoulders, and arms. It fits me perfectly with high arm holes, zero bag around the chest and arms and waste. I suppose if you are very thin/skinny with narrow shoulders and chest, this might not be perfect, but for the average male, I think they'll be very happy. If you have a gut, don't get this shirt. In general, I recommend this shirt for an everyday affordable dress shirt.
