Beautiful roller! But...

This rolling pin is beautiful and heavy. My only issue is that it doesn't match the holder. The pin itself is a lovely marbled white color, but the holder is dark gray. Fortunately I don't care since I don't use the holder anyway, and the rolling pin by itself matches by marble pastry board. Just keep in mind that the two pieces might not match up.l even though they are sold as a set.

Beautiful and heavy duty

I am a cookie baker/decorator so I wanted a heavy rolling pin to replace my old one and this one is perfect! Great quality!

Who Knew That I Needed a Marble Rolling Pin

I'm a hobby pie baker, and by chance I learned that a heavier rolling pin might be beneficial to my efforts, so I bought this one. It does work well, and is easy to clean, but you do have to be careful to not carelessly get a sprained wrist from the unsupported weight. In any case it's all that I'll be using going forward.

Great Quality

I really love this! Great quality! I personally would have preferred a larger base. However, the small base is acceptable. I think I’m just used to a larger base because I owned a somewhat similar set years ago and regret selling it. I do love this rolling pin much more because of the handles. The one I purchased years ago from Mervyn’s in the early 1980’s had wood handles.

Holder arrived broken, like others have said

The rolling pin itself is beautiful -- cool to the touch, white and gray, silver handles, heavy. The holder arrived broken, sadly, like others have said. I'm assuming the holder was originally inside the styrofoam included in the box, but I can't be sure. I'm sending it back and will try one more time to get one that's unbroken.

Great Product!

I ordered this rolling pin for my sister's birthday and she loved it. Many other reviews said theirs came broken, but it arrived in one piece and the marble was beautiful. My sister said it's so much less effort to roll out her cookie dough.

Great rolling pin for pastry making

This rolling pin is sturdy and well made. The marble surface stays cool and helps moderate the temperature which prevents pastry from sticking to the rolling pin. It also works well with the the marble pastry board which I also purchased.
