It fits!!

After wasting money on an “adult”(?) clown wig from a local store (it would not fit on a small child!!), I bought this one and IT FITS!! It’s a little loosely made but it’s a clown wig!! Should be perfect with my clown suit! Very pleased!!! Only reason I gave it only 4 stars is due to the “hairs” being so long & loose.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this wig. I washed it in the sink first, pinned it too an old Styrofoam mannequin head we have while it was wet, and gently teased the hair with a metal hair pick. I think I could have teased it out higher, but I was pressed for time. I've attached a photo. Although a few stands of hair did come out during the teasing, they were very minimal in quantity. It was definitely an adult size and fit a size 7 3/8 head. The hair was woven into the wig's netting in a pattern similar to a rug's weaving, and it quite thoroughly obscured the netting from view. I suspect some of the complaints have stemmed from vendors inadvertently sending lesser-quality wigs. If the package doesn't say "Forum Wig Designs Jumbo Rainbow Wig," they sent you the wrong one.

It's A Wig!

It’s a cheap wig, for Lords sake. I didn’t expect much. It came in a flat bag, but expanded enough to snugly fit my head. The curls were not at all even as shown in the picture, but easily unfurled with contact. That didn’t bother me, as it’s a darn clown’s wig! It doesn’t need to look perfect. I purchased this for one event and it worked fine. I looked like a clown in a clown’s wig, which was the point. Anyone who expects more for their money is a clown as well. If you want a perfect afro-clown wig, grow one and dye the hell out of it, for Lords sake.

This is just a regular curly clown wig. There is no white in it, just bright colors. It is not jumbo at all.

EXCELLENT DEAL!

You have to comb it out, and it DOES shed, but that is too be expected with a novelty wig! I patiently combed and brushed it out while holding the "roots" of the wig for minimal shedding and trimmed any stragglers. Once you take your time to style it, it is big and beautiful. It stayed in place perfectly, even with a silk wave cap (didn't have wig caps available at the store near my house) & I got tons of compliments!

You'll Want to Wear It Everywhere!

Super fun wig! Bright colors. Great price. The size is where it lost a star. My head is a large adult size and it stretches to fit, but the overall size of the cap is small, so it doesn't quite reach down far enough. If it covers my hair in the front, it won't cover the back and vice versa. I still love it and plan to rock my "John 3:16" End Zone Man costume for Halloween. Or I'll wear it grocery shopping. It's so fun I want to wear it all the time!

Great wig for the price.

This wig was perfect for what I needed. I didn't give it 4 stars, only because it did start falling apart right out of the bag. Honestly it didn't matter because there was so much hair in it. My daughter used it for Halloween night, and we are holding on to it incase she needs it again. I think it would work another time. The colors are bright and looked great. My daughter is 12 and it fit her with no problem. To compare I put it on my 4 year old child, and it fit him as well. Many times wigs are itchy, my daughter wore this the entire night.

fantastic!

after reading reviews on other clown wigs offered through amazon, i was a bit hesitant to order one. since i was pressed for time though, i decided to order this jumbo rainbow clown wig and was SO pleased!!! the wig truly is jumbo! you can fluff it and pick it out until it is quite large! the hair is thick and doesn't show through to the head/cap like man others do. the colors are vibrant, the wig is full. it was beyond what i hoped for and the price was incredible. i have already used this wig several times for kids programs and it continues to hold up very well! would definitely recommend it. (i posted a picture of my dad using the wig for a kids program. although he has a hat on, you can see how full and nice the wig is!)
