Fun for a variety of ages!
I used this game for a storytelling class for Kindergarten through second grade, and then for a class of middle-schoolers, and both groups absolutely loved it!

Great gift for preschooler!
Got these cards for my 3-year-old niece. My sister played them with her and reported back that not only did my niece love them, but so did she and her older sisters! This was a great purchase!

Surprisingly Love This
I wasnt sure about these - I mean its just picture cards. How fun could they be? My 5 and 8 year old LOVE them! The illustrations are beautifully fun. There are literally so many ways to use them. We can draw and take turns adding to a story, or keep cards in our hands to play. Right now my kindergartener is picking cards to make up her own story to tell me. Such a great imaginative resource, especially for us homeschoolers. Highly recommend, and I will be purchasing more of the different themes!

Many levels of play - fun even for non-readers
I enjoyed that there are several ways to play, and that children don't need to be able to read to make it fun. I also liked that there are at least a few representations of people of color in the cards (unlike some other similar games). There are enough interesting prompts to make it easy to tell a story. Game says for 2 or more players but I think that after 5 or 6 it becomes difficult for very young children to wait for a turn. Great game!

Tons of fun. If you struggle to spend time with your preschooler in ways that don't make you want to pull out your hair (I am so sick of wearing Elsa's crown, right?) then this is a great "game." You hand the child cards, that's it. You can do it random or peek and pick the one you want to give her. Here's how we play: I show her the first card at the same time I say, "Once upon a time there was a....." She supplies the rest. I draw another and say, "Oh no, then what happened?" I keep doing that until she runs out of steam. "Do you want to tell another one?" She usually gets through 2-3, 10 card stories before she says, "That's enough." You can make the cards come in a particular order to make the story more coherent, but we like it wild. We love to see what "happens" in her story when she gets them out of order: princess, donkey, and then the message in a bottle, and a cat...

Fun to use and lovely to look at
As a 4th birthday present for my daughter this was excellent. We immediately had a go creating a story and ended up using all the cards as she was so enthused by it. Very good quality cards and box, and very clear pretty artwork. My only complaint is that I felt some of the cards were a little repetitive, my daughter did not immediately recognise key features of each card when she saw the same character again and again. I assume this is something that will change as she gets older. Some of the cards seems very specific where a few more 'generic' cards might be better.

Brilliant set of cards
Brilliant set of cards. Great for children to form stories with a beginning, middle and end. My 4 year old selects cards, lays them in the sequence she wants then tells her story. Some are hilarious, some a repeat of traditional tales or ones I have made up. They are a challenge to my imagination as well when she picks cards for me to turn into a story. Great for traveling too. Would make a perfect gift/stocking filler. Am considering others in the range.

Love this. We had the original forest one and we loved that too. By "we" I mean my 3 year old and myself. My 18 months old love looking at the pictures too. Great for the kids to develop their imagination, but more importantly the kids love it.
