HORRIBLE ASSEMBLY
First off- lets start with the positives. This table is adorable. Great quality wood. Seems like this should hold up well. Really like it. HOWEVER…. I cannot give this 5 starts because putting it together was horrific. My poor husband was grunting, groaning, gasping and if he was a swearing man words would have been flying around like a sailor! I swear he had every tool he owned out of his tool chest and even broke out his heavy duty gloves to try and spare his hands from blisters. He kept glaring at me saying “you owe me, woman!” Not exactly sure what that means but one can only imagine. (Insert deer in the headlights emoji!) The screws are ridiculously cheap and super difficult to work with. Apparently, according to my very capable yet highly frustrated husband “they need to provide screws that you can both screw in with a Phillips and use a wrench with!!!! (thick hexagon heads)” Did he get ‘er done? Of course he did but COMMON PEOPLE! It shouldn’t be this hard! Melissa and Doug: YOU CAN DO BETTER! Ok - enough with the rant. I better go pay up… you never know when I’m going to need him to build something else! (insert eye-roll emoji!)

Hard to assemble
I love the table and chairs because it's a cute set. Seems like sturdy material, but my hand got a little bruised from the difficulty of screwing the stuff together. You have to have some strength to screw in and even then it doesn't seem to go in all the way. I unscrewed it and screwed it in but regardless of angle, it's tough. The chairs were super easy to put together so no complaints there. Same screws as the table, just easier.

A great toddler table!
This is a great table! Only gave it 4 stars because the assembly was ridiculous. Almost every screw stripped. The durability of the table is great, they could have used a little better pieces to build it. My toddler loves the table though and I’m super happy we bought it!!

Cheap material
I will say i do love this table, my son likes it as well. Unfortunately I got this around Christmas and it is now April and the chairs are chipping away! I didn’t spend almost $150 for the chairs to deteriorate… pretty disappointed

Best toddler table set
The set was easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy. A perfect fit for my two grandsons, ages 2 and 4. A little shelf is under the table for their coloring books and markers/crayons. They love it! Highly recommend.

Highly Recommended
Well packaged. Didn't have any nicks or scratches. Very sturdy my older tween kids can sit in the chairs and feel secure. There is no wiggle.

Terrible screws that don’t fit!
Table quality is great but the screws that come with it are cheap and strip while trying to get them to fit and screw in all the way. One leg won’t go in all the way and I cannot use the chair. The rest I could get one of the two screws in to hold it

Cutest Table Ever……But
My husband put this together and he wasn’t happy. There were stripped bolts, couldn’t get some of those little thing a ma jigs threaded. The There were also a couple holes missed by and he had to get his drill out to drill like 2 holes through.

Must use a PH3 size phillips screwdriver!
I started off with the same problem as most recent reviewers with screws stripping. Quickly realized that the standard Phillips screwdrivers most folks have around the house (PH1 or PH2) are too small and will strip any screw head, not just these. Went out and purchased a PH3 size and problem solved, perfect fit for screws. A squirt of WD40 on the loctite also helped. Assembly was very simple and straightforward after that. The table and chairs are super sturdy when assembled and my 15 month old granddaughter is loving it!

I have a 4 and 1.5 year old and this table is perfect for both of them. They love it, it's a great size and seems very sturdy so far.

impossible to install
worst experience trying to put them together. the hole for screws are extremely tight. also the quality of the screws are terrible, easily damage when you try to screw them in.

I literally got this 30 minutes ago for our 4 and 2 year old and I absolutely LOVE IT! I’ve been looking forever as I hate plastic and the kids LOVE IT! Thank you so much ❤️❤️

Difficult to assemble but sturdy (for now and TBD for future)
After stripping 3 screws and many colorful words, we got this put together. Make sure you've had a good night sleep and at least 2 coffees before tackling this frustrating assembly. Once put together it's very nice but we will see how it holds up over time with 3 stripped screws 3/4 way in.
