Bee's wax good to strengthen thread...
I run the embroidery thread, 2 ply, thru' device 3/4 x when using bugle beads (w/seed beads at each end to prevent bugle sharp ends from cutting thru' the thread). I hope it keeps beads on fabric I'm wearing & to which I've given "gusto"!

Highly recommended
I came late to knowing about using bees wax on thread for hand sewing. Wow - what a difference it makes. It helps keep the thread from tangling so your thread glides smoothly through the fabric. Fritz is a long standing, quality maker of sewing notions. It says it's for quilting but you can use it for any hand sewing or craft products. Just don't put it on your thread in your sewing machine! The case is well made. Highly recommended.

Nice Packaging
I’m not sure if this helps with my thread getting tangled or not. I like the holder and it’s easy to pass the thread through. I accidentally left this in my car in direct sunlight for several hours and was surprised the wax did not melt. I would buy this again.

I am so pleased with this product
I was having issues with my floss twisting and not laying straight. It was very frustrating because I would have to lift my pattern out of my lap stand to have the tread unwind. I researched a bit and learned that beeswax can solve this issue.So I purchased this product. I am so pleased with this product! I love the holder it comes in, it makes it very easy to run your floss through and not get to much on your floss. Its really bad to get to much as it can mess with the color of your thread. Basically if you see the wax on the thread it is too much wax. This little holder has prevented all that mess and frustration. Both too much wax,and it keeps my floss from getting frayed or twisted.

excellent quality
I use this in my traditional beadwork. It is a excellent quality of wax and it is very easy to use. It enables you to wax a long piece of thread in quick time.

Beeswax for bead weaving
I am a beginner trying a bead weaving for the first time. This wax is great for ease of moving thread through the beads. I do not recommend this though, if you are a beginner. If you have to remove the thread from any beads, the wax will sometimes come off the thread onto the beads if it went on too thick or you have to remove it from too many beads.

Really helped me
I bought this to help me when I bound a quilt. I was having trouble with my thread knotting. I ran my thread through the wax a couple times and didn't have any more problems with my thread knotting while working on my quilt binding. Granted, I had to run it through the wax a couple times like 3 or 4 but it really helped to keep the thread from knotting.

A quilters helper
My old Dritz Beeswax with holder needed to be replaced after many years of use. The beeswax keeps my thread firm while hand quilting and appliquéing and in my opinion a necessary tool for hand quilters. It also helps me with threading my quilting needle.

The product was good quality and came in the mail fast. Easily waxed thread with 2-3 passes in the wax. Comfortable and very portable.

Great product for cross stitch
Love it. Helps keeps thread from fraying during cross stitching. I find it helps to run thread through finders after applying to pull any extra wax off before stitching. Not spending hours untangling threads that fray into knots anymore.
