Accessories galore!
This kit comes with basically any accessories that you would normally need with a Dremel. The cable extension is really nice when you are doing tasks that require a lengthy amount of time, as with all high speed electric grinders this can get pretty warm with prolonged use. The variable speed allows you to do anything from wood carving to cutting tile or metal. Great deal for the price!

Love it
I saw it in my ads and it was dirt cheap so I couldn’t resist the price. I have a Dremel 300 model and I thought it was time for an upgrade. I didn’t realize how loud my 300 series was, or that it’s range of variable speed was limited. This model has more versatility and wider range of RPMs. The flex shaft is really nice. I keep it attached most of the times. I will have to say if I didn’t get it for a cheap as I would’ve I probably wouldn’t have bought it . I will have to say if the attachments make it more expensive the only attachment that’s Worthwild is the flex shaft. The other ones don’t really help much. The straight line cutter doesn’t really work that well all of my Dremel easy attach discs for cutting have broken in a matter of seconds. The case that it comes with is far below expectation nothing really fits into it as soon as you pick it up everything is flying around inside the case it’s a really, really poor design. Having to deal with the case and putting everything back where it belongs has Mayer me reached by 300 a couple of times. Other than that it’s a Dremel and it’s decent, but the poor attachments, and the miserable case give it 4 stars.

An amazing tool for someone owning a small home
So why is this one better than the other Dremel kit options out there? It might not be but I was looking to not spend a fortune while getting what I needed and this delivered! I needed it to be organized and easy to put away into a small closet. The case this comes in is unbelievably organized and I really truly appreciate that. My one complaint about it is that it's so organized up until just a tiny compartment box for most of the accessories. There's a place for all the big accessories within the case, and they're labeled with pictures etched into the plastic. But then you go to get the right cutter head and you have to open up a tiny box full of accessories and no real organization. At this price point I'd expect a little bit better for the storage of pricey parts. But I was happy and surprised with the organization of the case itself. It came with all the accessories I needed and since it came with the keyless chuck I'm able to use some of the smaller drill bits I already owned. But since it's corded and the cord isn't very long I do prefer my cordless screwdriver for hanging pictures and shelves. When you're indoor storage options are limited this really makes a great tool to have since it can do such a wide variety of jobs. I used it to cut nice circular openings into a self made hidden litter box bench for my cats, and to cut an opening into the litter box I made from a plastic bin since no litter boxes would fit as perfectly in that bench. I used it to sand down my doors that weren't closing, to drill holes for putting up my towel bars in the bathroom - all within the first few days of owning it so I know I'll be getting lots and lots of use out of this.

Get the bundle with 6-attachments. These are great tools to assist you
I had a Dremel for 25+years that finally broke. This is a great tool and the bundle includes some excellent attachments. I went with the A/C model, rather than the cordless because mine often goes unused for months at a time and the last thing I need is a dead/drained battery when I need this tool. PLUS, it simply has more power overall.

Love this tool
I’ve used this tool a lot with making small and delicate cuts in 16 gauge sheet metal. While it doesn’t cut fast with the 1 1/2” cutting wheel it’s great for getting the hard to reach stuff, as well as cutting curves. The cutting discs are surprisingly durable and I haven’t brocken one yet.

Excellent customer service.
I've had the tool for 4 years, but I've only used it maybe a dozen times. I was using it to sand today with the flex shaft. It worked for probably and hour. I turned it off and then turned it back on about a minute later and it was completely dead. Nothing, no noise or anything. I did some trouble shooting and everything looked fine so not sure what is wrong, but it should work more than 12 times. I've read other people have had this same issue. Update...I did more troubleshooting and found its something to do with the switch not making a connection. If I push down at a certain point on the end by the speed control it will work. Not great but I can still use it. Update....I contacted the company and they sent me a form for repairs. I sent my unit in and they sent me a replacement free of charge even though my product was well out of warranty.

Reliable
As long as you keep the ventilation open, it works forever. I'm still using mine here in 2022 and it's still working well. Outlasted my German Proxxon which I purchased for supposed reliability. Also works with all the Dremel attachments available on Amazon and big box stores. Can't say enough good things about this model. The variable speed and attachments are great. I've used it for modifying bumpers, car doors, speakers, short shifter assemblies, polishing headlights, polishing plastic, and much more. Would recommend to my friends.

The box was open. They was 3 pieces missing from the box . No mini wrench and 2 bits missing that was included in purchase.

Great tools, but the new case sucks!
Bought this to replace my old kit that got lost. I *hate* these new cases! The old one had a slot for just about everything, including bits, collets, grinding wheels, and insets for storing various disks and the like. Everything was sorted, visible, and easily accessible. In the new case, everything is just a heap of parts. Tiny bits go in a separate storage box. Keeps them from scattering, but tedious to find what you’re looking for, and you almost need tweezers to get some things out of it. As for attachment storage, while there are marked cutouts for many of them, their application is euphemistic at best. The tolerances of the cutouts is very sloppy, and for some parts there is simply no way the attachment could even fit in the suggested location. The plastic feels cheap, the molding is sloppy, the whole execution is just shoddy. Really, Dremel, I expected a lot better of you than this. Fortunately I have a soft sided tool bag that’s just the right size to hold the 4000 and its accessories. I’ll buy a clear-lidded parts storage container where I can sort the bits, cutters, disks, etc., in a way that will make it easy to find things, and use that instead.

Love it! Especially the flex shaft
I am making tiny detail work on my woodworking projects, the flex shaft makes this job so much easier! Not heavy, flexible and long enough for bigger projects! I would also recommend to purchase the Dremmel Rotary Tool Workstation (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00068P48O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to make sure it doesn't get on your way. Perfect for spoon making, detail carving, metal cutting, glass cutting. Awesome for talented people!

Bastante practico
Si eres de esas personas que les gusta reparar por si mismos las cosas del hogar y hacer manualidades debes tener uno, es excelente para trabajos de corte, pulido y detallado, hay quienes se quejan de que los discos de corte son muy caros, pero después de haberlo usado en varios proyectos observo que los discos abrasivos marrones que vienen en cilindros de 36 pzas cortan de todo (he cortado varillas y herrería con esos) no es necesario estar comprando los discos diamantados EZ lock, es cuestión de mucha paciencia, mantener el angulo correcto, y no aplicar mucha fuerza, si te animas a comprar uno, es esencial tener gafas protectoras hazme caso, compra tus gafas protectoras

They stand behiond their product.
The 1st one I git had a broken outer cable for the stylus. It lasted1 second then separated. I applied for a swap/return and the next day it showed up I was pleasantly surprised. New on works like a dam. Great choice very happy.
