Great for rotator cuff/ labrum/ bicep surgery
Had to purchase arm cradle for a multiple procedure surgery on left shoulder and this fit the bill perfectly. I was given a few options with others being in higher price ranges. This one is comfortable and perfect. Can be used for left or right. I am 5’10” and 270 lbs, my measurement from crease of elbow to bend of index finger is between 13 to 15” so I ordered the large and it was perfect with some room to spare. Comes with extra strap and the red squeeze ball, the pillow support with ample space on the strap to strap around you and I had no issues even with wide hips. I reccomend saving your money and purchasing this over the 200$ version, this is just as good and you will not be in it forever. It’s not confusing to get in and out if it’s quite simple once you figure it out which took me a day to get the hang of. Definitely recommend!

Assembly and use extremely difficult- especially with poor instructions
Instructions are beyond worthless!! The bad reviews I read were accurate in this and other aspects. Very comfortable cradle and pillow for my shoulder replacement. Wish cradle attached directly to entire sling as a unit. Extremely difficult with one hand to press plastic closures; instead, I left extra room to slide my arm out without the use of these plastic pieces! I've had 4 shoulder repairs and one prior shoulder replacement; so, I've embraced slings as necessary supports post-op, and sometimes pre-op. I've had multiple reliable satisfactory slings over the years: no complaints. This one is Supportive. Also, Adjustable in many ways, with dual-sided velcro everywhere.

Very comfortable!
It was pretty comfortable after surgery. I tried another one and it was super uncomfortable. The sling is pretty soft. The straps are pretty soft. Didn’t have any problem sleeping in it. One problem is we couldn’t get a small. The medium is a little big but does the trick! One other thing it’s really confusing getting on. Great buy!

a monster sling
i recently had rotator cuff surgery and was sent home with a donjoy ultra sling 2. decided it would be good to have 2 during recovery so ordered what i thought was the same sling on amazon. i received a monstrous device nothing like the sling with clearly printed description on side of sling. think this company needs to get their descriptions straight! and good god who would want one of these on their body?
