Great drill/tap bit!

I sheared a bolt inside the intake manifold (cast aluminum I believe) of my Honda Aquatrax. This bit is the real deal! With patience and cutting oil, this bit drilled out the sheared bolt and tapped it with new threads with no hesitation. A+

Complete junk DO NOT BUY THIS!

Broke chasing threads in cast iron! Taken out of the package and used in the first hole and snap! This is supposed to be impact rated. What happened to Dewalt quality?

Held up better than expected

I found the tool to work perfectly to resolve an issue with a broken pickup bed tie down bolt. I was very impressed.

Great for aluminum extrusions!

When used with an impact driver, this is a godsend for tapping 40 series 8020 aluminum extrusions. The drill tip helps to ensure you are tapping the pre-existing hole straight. Add a bit of Tap Magic, and you can have a perfectly tapped hole in under 10 seconds! It certainly beats a hand tapping them!
