Lovely and elegant statue / sculpture that is beautiful and stately!

This Design Toscano Empress Josephine's Dancer Statue is absolutely gorgeous! Everything about this statue is beautiful, stately, and you can almost detect a hint of sass from her pose. The details are lovely and exquisite, and the Greco-Roman style is impeccable - from her graceful, curvy, upright figure to her flowing dress. I love her perpetual pose of getting ready to twirl and cut loose with some dance moves. At the same time, she exudes a peaceful feeling of confidence and grace. This lovely lady stands at over 25" tall, and she is solid, sturdy, and beautifully well-constructed. She looks like she would weigh a ton, but she's made from crushed stone and resin instead of solid stone, so she's much lighter weight and easier to handle than you would assume just to look at her. She has a gray finish that helps make the stone/resin blend look more authentic. Everything about her was flawless upon arrival, and she gives a beautiful air around our spa area to enjoy. Overall, this is a very beautiful and great quality sculpture that works well indoors, as well as outdoors, to enhance a space and add a touch of elegance to it. You can really place this statue anywhere, and she'll always look lovely wherever she goes, so you really can't go wrong. I just love this statue - it gets ALL the stars from this household!

Absolutely lovely little statue

This gorgeous little statue is hollowed out in the inside so that it weighs less, saving your money and making it easier to position in different places. Whether indoors or outdoors, this is a beautiful little statement piece that adds elegant and neo-classical grace to any space. While some statues may have finer detail to them, making them more ideally suited for an indoor space, this still has enough detail to look fine up close, and from a few feet distance, she truly is magnificent.

Lovely, sassy statue

This is a really well made and solid statue of Empress Josephine. She has a sassy, "don't mess with me" and fun look. Really, a great addition to my garden. With a solid base, it will stay up in windy weather. The overall look is great with my other statues, and the look that the Empress is giving St Francis is just excellent. The composite material feels like real rock/cement without being heavy.

Good statue

This is a well made Toscano statue, be sure to note the size, it's not too big, and hence factor that into where you want to use it. Comes well packaged, no damage, wipe of the styrofoam beads around it once you open it out, and ready to use.

Nice size ,lots of flaws though on feet hand & Lip & nose ,bought it when reduced so not too bothered about the flaws ,had i have paid full price i would have sent it back ,it was to put in my bathroom so over all it doesnt have to be perfect .
