Privacy
I have bought this product before. It keeps the privacy a person is looking for. Knocks down the sunlight by 90% if you’d like to have your room cool. I would highly recommend this to anybody..

Very Disappointed with this Product
I can't recommend this product at all. First, it didn't come with the red plastic tool that's used to push out the air bubbles. There was a slight odor but overwhelming. It was difficult to work with, but manageable. It does appear to stick without an adhesive but only time will tell how well. I was really bothered that the film came with hard creases throughout the sheet. It was obvious out of the box. I thought, maybe they would smooth out afterwards, but they didn't. There were creases on the outer film that gets peeled away but there were also creases on the film that gets applied to the window. After it's been applied, it's hard to see out of the window. It added the tint, but it also made the window extremely blurry. Overall, I wasn't happy with the product and the description is very misleading. At the time, I was debating between Amazon and my local hardware store. The price on Amazon was lower but I guess you get what you pay for, next time I'll give the hardware store a try.

Excellent
I love this mirrored adhesive. I bought it for my bay window because my cat loves to watch the birds but she was always scaring them away when she would run back and forth in front of the window. Now the we all can enjoy the birds and the birds can enjoy the feeders - WIN/WIN!

NOT Static cling as advertised
False advertising. It has adhesive on the side when you pull back the clear film. It is reflective on both sides. It is sticking and will leave finger prints on the sticky side as if feels just like adhesive tape. The instructions are 99% not English. This is made in Germany for most of UK but not for the USA. I will be sending it back. It does come with a disposable razor knife. But did not include a squeegee to remove the water that is suppose to be sprayed on the back and window. Not easy to remove if you put it on. I use to put this on car windows many years ago (Gila) this is just like it. I wanted something that I could take down if I wanted to move it to other windows to help keep sunshine out.

perfect for the office.
I bought this for the windows in the office where I work. We get sun streaming through so not only is it baking but we get lots of glare. I installed some film on two of the windows this morning and it is doing a good job. As it is in the office I wasn't that fussed about how it looks but it actually was pretty easy to put on smoothly. Like others have mentioned, it would be easier if the transparent coating had a grid pattern to help with cutting out but it wasn't too big a deal. You did need two pairs of hands to remove the transparent coatings as it created quite a lot of static and it clings to everything. The only reason I didn't give it 5 out of 5 was the instructions. They were a bit tricky to understand as they refer to both the black film you apply to the window and the top and bottom transparent protection layers as 'foil'. I had to read it about 3 or 4 times before I worked out what 'foil' was what. Simply calling them different names would have made a huge difference. Finally - having the film not being adhesive is perfect. when we leave the office we have to leave it as we found it so any adhesive version would not have worked.

Warning: adhesive not static cling
The product I received is NOT static cling, it is adhesive. The included instructions are only in French and German, and you are directed to a German language website to find English; I couldn't find it. However dredging up my school French I just about managed to work it out, and found that 1) it needs 2 people to fit it 2) you must cover the whole window not just a section 3) there instructions on amazon site are wrong. I decided not to use it at all but had sadly left it too long to return it. So, money down the drain and I advise anyone not to buy it. Updated 8Feb2015: Decided to try it without peeling off the backing film, and fitted it as if it was static cling. It worked fine and is still in place after 6 months. If you try fitting it this way, make sure that it does not touch the window frame anywhere. If it touches the window frame it will peel away at that point.

Easy to fit and works as intended. Cuts down heat and glare from the sun without cutting off too much light.
