Feels very secure without being too tight or heavy. Plenty of room in the toe box.
I bought the shoe to feel safer around vehicle parts. Extra benefit is that they are oil/slip resistant. Good arch support without being too high. Its all I expect from a Danner shoe. I had only worn a hunting boot previously, which are like walking on a cloud.

Great Nonmetallic-Toe Work Shoes
They fit true to size. I used them right out of the box with no break-in period. No problems going through the metal detectors in airport security. They are light and supportive. It is my first day wearing them, and I have much less pain in my feet. I am so happy with them!!

best work shoe so far
These work safety toe shoes are perfect! I normally have to order a 7.5 wide, even though I have small feet. They don't make a wide size, so I got the regular 7.5 and they fit perfect, a little snug, but they will stretch. They don't look big or bulky. I first wore them on the weekend, to see how they fit and feel. Lots of cushion! I was surprised. I have a pair of Timberland Pro's powertrain and Caterpillar Woodward. The Timberlands held up the best, the Caterpillars have little tread. I ordered a pair of Keen and sent them back, because the tread wasn't helpful. I work where there is carbon and graphite dust everywhere and slippery. These shoes have great tread!!! Great fit, great tread, light, fit perfect, feel good at the end of the day and they look nice.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I have bad knees and find myself in a lot of pain at the end of my work day. I don’t feel sore or fatigued after wearing them all day.

Too tight
