what's in a name?

Firstly, this review is not exactly for the purple band watch I ordered, which I doubt was even ever shipped, and subsequently raised 18.00 in cost in a matter of hours. It's a review of a system that produces a watch with a crystal that cracks far too easily, a system that raises it's price 18.00 ,perhaps because there is only 1 left? I am disappointed, my Mom really liked the original Peugeot watch, and the crystal cracked somehow during some work she was doing in the garden, presumably using a double handed axe or some other tool a 78 year old woman might use. I am forming a picture of the Amazon business model, and it's sellers, and it's not something I'm going to hang on the wall.

Overall, I like this watch. I have a small wrist, and this one is perfect. I would rank it higher had it not for the hard, stiff "leather" band and hard to read dial

My new watch came with a problem :(

I purchased this watch less than one month ago to replace one exactly like this that I enjoyed for about 18 years. My old watch shows its age, so I wanted a new one. Unfortunately the new watch has been off time twice -in less than one month- and the problem is that the button to change time gets loose easily. It never happened with my old one. I would like to hear from Peugeot about this. Thanks!

Not suitable for small wrists

I measured my wrist and it’s 5 ½ inches in diameter. The watch is larger than I expected, but definitely not well-fitting for a small wrist. I could put 2 fingers between the band and my wrist. I may go to my local jeweler and get a closer hole punched in, or I may send it back. I have the watch with the blue band and it is very pretty, just not sure I’ll keep it. I’ll update my review later, after I decide. The price is very good.

Bigger than I thought

To me this is big. I have small wrists and this watch seemed giant compared to my old one. I did replace the band to a smaller one so that helps. I wish there were actual numbers instead of dashes. I do like the black background. This watch is on the left in the pics and the top. Just for comparison. The new band-(not the one that comes with the watch) is on the watch in the pics.

This watch was large on a 6 inch wrist.

I didn't care for this watch and gave it away. I have a smaller wrist and the size was just too big for me. The case seems especially thick and looked chunky.

Peugeot Black Leather Band Watch

This is a very nice looking watch. The pros are that the band has enough holes to fit even a very small wrist without a long excess tail, the watch face is a great size that will be quite attractive on any size wrist, watch batteries will be provided for the watch by the company free of charge and the price was half what it would have cost to order it directly from the company! I did a lot of research before purchasing a watch and decided to order this one, not only for the reasons stated, but because of the positive reviews. Thanks Amazon for delivery a day earlier than stated, that was a nice surprise as well. The watch band is real leather but it is a bit stiff which I hope will soften up. The watch itself was a little thicker than I anticipated but it does not detract from the beauty of the watch. The oblong face of this watch is not overly large but just enough to make the watch really stand out and be quite attractive and unique. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.

Nice looking watch

This is a nice looking watch that I purchased to replace a Skagen watch where the stem broke off. The band on this watch is very, very nice, feels substantial but isn't bulky. The watch face is just the right size and looks very good on my arm. What I didn't like was the metal the watch is made of. It doesn't seem as high a metal grade of steel like my Skagen. I worry that this will show scratches easily, the metal appears to be softer and has less sheen that the Skagen. Kind of looks like recycled metal? So, overall I'm pleased but I wear this only when I go out, not for work or around the house.

Lovely watch but quality failed

I loved this watch and wore it with pride, I have small wrists and it fitted perfectly, I loved the colour and it was easy to read, sadly one morning I noticed the glass face had gone missing and I had to return it to the USA for a refund!

Very pleased with watch and arrived quickly. Only criticism would be that the strap colour is more of a Cadbury purple than blue to my mind.

Orangey red.

Disappointed that the red is more “orangey” than the picture illustrates. Also, the size seems smaller than the dimensions provided. I have a blue Peugeot watch that I love, so a little disappointed.
