Size up.

So I am 5’ and just under 200 lbs. I typically wear a 14/16 pants but like higher waisted. I am a dog groomer so I thought these would work well. I ordered xl at first and there was no way I felt confident they wouldn’t split on me. I returned them and got the xxl and they fit well. I will say they are not ankle length on me they are normal pant length but that means I won’t hem them. I’m satisfied overall.

Fabric is great - super lightweight. It is everything it is advertised to be. Problem is that the crotch depth is too short so it bunches up in that area and is a little snug instead of a regular, loose fit. Not sure if it's a keeper.

I love HH products and buy lots of them. They do run on the small size but I just know to size up from US sizing. These pants are great for rainy days and keep you dry. I love the way you can use the velcro bottoms to get over boots and tighten.

Fits True To Size...

These are fantastic for inclement weather and hiking. Typically, I size-up in Helly clothing but found these to be true to size.---I wear a medium pant (size 6-8 or 27/28). Found these in medium to be perfect fit. Not too tight, not too loose, and just the right amount of give for full-movement/activity. Another great, quality purchase from Helly!

Great short pant but watch the back

I like these pants. They are definitely short as advertised. I am 5’4” and they hit at my ankles. But the length is perfect so that I am not dragging my pants in the mud (the velcro closure also helps this). They are a tad low on the back (not alot of room for a booty), but it doesn’t bother me as my coat covers me up. I also sized up (XXL instead of XL) since someone else mentioned the booty issue plus I wanted to wear lots of layers. They are roomy on me; I can wear them over my fleece leggings plus jeans and still not feel constricted. Great wind and waterproof. Goes easily over boots.
