Great Winter(very warm) Coat for Pacific NW

I bought this coat to walk 2 dogs in the PNW cold rainy & sometimes snowy winters. As other reviews have said it is heavier than the down puffer coats you get at Costco, but well worth the price ( on sale!!). Well made, w/warm hood that actually covers ( & stays) on your head, stood up to a drenching wind & rain while walking dogs. I bought an XL - am 5'4", 38C bust,145 lbs and it is perfectly sized w/ room for heavy sweater. Hits mid calf, full lining, nice stretchy wrist cuffs, 2 deep and 2 small pockets, easy to zip and snap close. "Beach" color is actually a warm beige. Would highly recommend if you need a very warm winter coat!

My new favorite!

Been looking for a classy, long down coat and this one is perfect! It's warm and fun to wear and the merlot/wine color is rich and luxurious! I wear a large and the size was PERFECT! Now I'll be cleaning out my coat to make room!

Very warm!

So thankful for this coat! Love that it’s long so it keeps all of me warm (I’m 5’4 and it goes to about mid-calf. size S). Haven’t tested it out in negative degree weather, but wore it in 1°F and had no issues. For someone who doesn’t really enjoy the cold, this coat is a blessing. Good quality and looks nice as well.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

This coat is gorgeous and warm. It's long and covers just past the knees. I Feel like a million bucks when I put this coat on. Definitely worth every penny. Very inexpensive compared to department store. Love this coat so much . My favorite coat Ever !!

Beautiful Warm Parka

I was so happy to find the pink one available in Canada. I was going to purchase the white one in store but glad I searched the internet. The coat fits true to size, but the arm holes are a little tighter than what I like but not a deal breaker. The only thing that is really annoying is that the waist drawstrings tend to get caught up in the zipper if you aren't careful when zipping up. I have tested it in -16 celcius and it was great. I will have to wait a couple months to see how it holds up in -30. The pockets are really good and deep and the hand warmer pockets are amazing. I love how the hood zips up and the collar so you won't need a scarf. All in all very satisfied with my puchase.

Je le recommande il est chaud, en duvet remplissage 550, 200g et 100g J'aime beaucoup le tissus à l'intérieur des manches qui épouse les poignets pour éviter que le vent et le froid entre à l'intérieur. Les poches zippées sous la taille sont creuses, douces et chaudes. Il y a aussi des poches réchauffe mains plus discrète au dessus de la taille avec fermeture snaps, ainsi qu'un petite poche fermeture velcro à l'intérieur au niveau de la poitrine. Ce manteau a un petit col qui m'a surpris au départ parce qu'il n'est pas rembourré mais je l'apprécie finalement car je met toujours un foulard dans mon cou et j'ai de l'espace pour le mettre. Le gros col peut être fermé par dessus le petit col si le froid est intense. Le capuchon en sherpa gris est incroyablement chaud et épouse bien la tête, il ne se détache pas Je mesure 5.5 pieds et le xs m'arrive une peu sous les genoux. Si je fais des grandes enjambées, ou quand je lève les jambes pour m’asseoir dans la voiture, je trouve qu'il est un peu étroit, mais ce n'est pas vraiment un problème pour moi. Il est équipé d'une fermeture éclair bidirectionnelle pour celles que ça pourrait déranger. Il faut absolument utiliser les snaps par dessus la fermeture éclair, sinon le manteau a un drôle d'allure avec les rebords qui se tiennent droit devant. Il y a un simple cordon à l'intérieur au niveau de la taille, pour ajuster la coupe et ainsi avoir un look plus flatteur. Je l'ai obtenu à très bon prix j'en suis très satisfaite.

Great coat, fits true to size

Warm, reasonably stylish (it's a down coat, after all) with some nice features - deep, lined pockets, warmly-lined hood, two-way zipper, attractive outer snaps. I am 5'8" with short torso/long arms and legs, and I often have a problem with sleeves being too short -- they're perfect on this coat in a size Medium. I also like how the outer shell fabric isn't the shiny, thin kind often found on down jackets and coats, because in my experience, this type of fabric tears easily and is prone to allowing inner feathers to shed. My one caveat, and it's common on Columbia jackets/coats - the drawstring waist-adjuster. Please, Columbia, get rid of this and add buttons or some other method of adjusting the waist -- like Obermeyer and Helly Hansen do -- this is a cheap, awkward feature on an otherwise well-designed coat.

Super cute, great quality

I love this jacket. It's warm, cozy, and is the perfect it to throw on with just about any outfit. The material is unique and doesn't hold dog hair like I expected. The colour and fit are just as I hoped. Great buy.
