Amazing but not coyote brown (tan-499)

These are amazing fit is great! I’ve had a top and bottom set from cold pruf for a while now and loved it and when I found out I was getting stationed in Alaska knew where to look to! There is a downside to it though, as it is labeled coyote brown, it doesn’t meet the regs for AFI 36-2903 anymore, would be cool if y’all got a good military line setup in each and in women’s, think it’d be a very good market ???????? I’m still going to make them work as I can just put a Tan -499 shirt over the top

Overall I'm very happy with the product.

I bought the ColdPruf Men's Journey Performance Base Layer Long Sleeve Crew Neck Top in the brown and find the color to be very close to the images on the website. I purchased the shirt as a mid-range warmth garment for hiking up to Machu Picchu this Spring (Fall in Southern Hemisphere). The overall fit of the shirt is tight, but I wanted it snug. My partner washed the garment and dried it on low heat (2 min) and rack drying for several hours which resulted in some piling of the fabric. There is some noticeable snags and further piling on the back after only one wear.

Warm and fuzzy

The inside of the shirt is soft and fuzzy. It'll be nice a base on a cold day or standalone on a cool night. The longer back might be nice for cyclists, but may not be necessary elsewhere. True to size.

Fit is weird and snug around shoulders

Husband and my son said shoulder and upper arm too tight. Son is 16 and trim husband is 195 and his extra large was the same. Just fit weird up top, they actually thought they put them on backwards at first because of the way it fit.

Good quality !!!

It is shiny/smooth on the outside so other clothing doesn't bind. A real fine fleece on the inside. If you wear a tight large go with an XL. good fit No scratchy labels to worry about. Overall for the $$ a very nice product, will buy more.

WTF? Nope. No sir. Don't do it.

Absolutely not what's advertised. This is not 100% merino wool, which socks. However, it wouldn't matter if it was because the fit and finish of the material is horrid. This can't be quantified into any size category. It's the most awkward and uncomfortable fitting thing I have truly ever bought. Spare yourself the aggravation and look elsewhere.

Used it to go snowboarding as a base underneath Burton snowpants and Northface jacket. The product works well. I didn't find myself perspiring even though it got a bit warm in my jacket so I would assume that's thanks to the wicking properties. Weather at the time was -8C. Will try to find colder days to go and hopefully remember to edit review.

Bring on big bad winter.

Heavy weight, for colder conditions (not that we get much of those in Ottawa anymore). Stitching seems solid, cut is good. Can't wait to see if it keeps me warm.

Excellent colour, and price for military members

These seem like very good quality, especially under my uniform. Price is excellent. 4 stars because the sizing is a little small. If you have "bigger" arms and or chest, get the next size up.
