It stopped working within 90 days. it was only returnable for 30 days. I should have got the warranty.

Works for both heating and chilling in the home and in the vehicle
Starting at home with the electric cord, I plugged in this cute Coca-Cola mini-fridge and added a room temperature can of Coke. Within 4 hours, the Coke was cold enough to drink but still not "ice cold". It took 6 hours to get the soda from room temperature to ice cold. Next, I turned the selector to warm and added a container with cold ham slices lunch meat and shredded cheese on top. Within 2 hours, the cheese was completely melted on top. Using this in the vehicle, I added an already cold Coke from the refrigerator and this mini fridge kept the Coke just as cold as it was until lunch time (but killed the battery in the vehicle so make sure your vehicle is running when using this mini fridge). Overall the mini-fridge works fine for both heating and cooling using electric or vehicle power. The inside area is really small but a sandwich sized container will fit for food. This little fridge will be handy to have on long trips but I think we would use it more for warming food than for cooling drinks. The mini-fridge does feel very cheap in terms of the plastic and would not survive being dropped.

On the go with kids?
Do you travel with kids? One of the hardest things to do is feed them good food while traveling on the road. That's the best thing about this. Plug it up in the car, toss in a pre-cooked meal and set to warm. It's not a microwave, it won't get it hot but it will warm it up a bit and it's better than fast food. It's quiet, it can go between a fridge and a warmer and it's affordable.

Practical but not something I would proudly display
I was extremely excited to see this product become available. Not only was I looking forward to having a nostalgic, Coca Cola-themed fridge by my side at the office (or rather, home office at the moment), I also was happy to see that it could be used as both a 40F fridge or a food warmer. It delivered as both a fridge and food warmer, and temperature measurements showed that the cooling function reached the expected 40F. Where I was disappointed, hover, is the quality of the material. It is plastic. Cheap plastic. Then at the top of the door, a discoloration that cannot be cleaned away (it was hard to photograph it accurately). I was truly, truly disappointed. It would not look well in our kitchen, although it would work fine at the office. It looks cheaper than pictured, but functionally works well as both an AC-powered device and as 12V cigarette port for car travels or while connected to a battery power station.

Bought one of these 20 years ago, and the technology has improved. Cokes famous campaign.
I got a cooler for work at a company that made drivers license software and it used a solid state thing like this. Cost me 150.00 in todays dollars (about 100 back then), and was great for about a year. At which time the glued on heat sink in the back (no fan) fell off and it became worthless. I attended a seminar at a trucking company in 2004 and learned about Purdue University research into Nanotechnology. One of the things I got out of it was that the effectiveness of the solid state cooling tech would be improved by 1000 percent using Nano circuitry. They surmised that it would eventually replace the need for pump based AC units in cars and homes. That hasn't happened unfortunately, but these small solid state units have improved somewhat. This cools my soda faster and more efficiently than what it took back at my old job. I can keep this nearby in the bedroom when I want a soda or a cold one. It's not got a lot of capacity, but for meds, women's make-up, soda, or a cold meat sandwich, it's great. It heats too, but I have a heated lunch box for that. Some nice features besides the selectable heating and cooling. It comes with a plug in for your cigar lighter power receptacle in the vehicle. It has a night switch that turns off the fan so it makes less noise. I believe the assumption is you won't open it at night so the power consumption is lower and the heat dissipation is fine without using the fan. Although I don't use that I keep a TV on for background noise anyway I'm not from the country so I don't like sleeping in silence or just hearing crickets. Recommended.

Small and not very sturdy
Very small and compact. There isn’t much space in there, but the little rack inside is removable, so you’ll want to take that out. Can be set for warm or cold operation, and works well for car trips. It has a fun look, but seems rather cheaply made for the price so I took off a couple of stars for that.

LOVE!
I have a basement with a movie theater/Coke theme. When this came up, I knew it was just what the room needed. We've never had a mini refrigerator so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I've loved providing my houseguests with a refreshment. I can get two full size water bottles and a couple cans of pop. If you very carefully put cans on top of each other than you could get 6 cans of whatever in it. It keeps the beverages super cold. The motor is so nice an quiet. I'm super pleased and so are my guests.
