Not for me

They should be perfect, but they’re not. There’s this lump inside the shoe just before the toes that I find very uncomfortable. And the heel slides up and down when I walk. But it’s such a pretty shoe! They’re just not right for me.

Getting lots of compliments on these shoes. Very comfortable. Easy to get on and off because of the zippers as well as shoe ties.

Out of the box impression

I researched reviews on various platforms about these shoes + ordered a size 8 instead of my usual 8.5, and they fit perfectly with room for socks, no breaking-in period needed. I suggest going down a 1/2 size on at least the black leather version of these shoes. The shoes fit a bit more loose at the ankles, so getting the right size will be important. They are perfect on me, but for folks looking for a good wider-fit shoe, this isn’t it. These were exactly what I was looking for - a walking shoe for Europe travels. Will see how the hold up in the long-run.
