High Quality Construction

I ending up buying this after struggling with a generic snap ring plier set from a discount tool warehouse that did not have multiple snap ring tip sizes and was much lower quality than these. The multi-pack of interchangeable tips with different size prongs in this set has worked for everything I've needed since buying it. The small storage pouch is a nice thought but I wish it was a bit larger so it doesn't get lost. The set also comes with an extra pair of set screws used to secure the interchangeable tips into the base of the pliers.

Genuine Channel Lock product. Dual action for inside/outside circlips. The interchangeable tips come in a small vinyl pouch. This may become a problem of finding them when time comes to change the size. I put a strong neodymium magnet inside the tip storage pouch to hold all these tips all together with the allen wrench and hopefully it will stay attached to the tool during storage.

I use these pretty often and I have nothing bad to say about them. The only thing I wish they could have done was add some way to keep the handles closed with a latch or something. Other than that they are very well built and I can tell they’re going to last a very long time.

Nice Pliers

Finally! Found a circlip plier that actually works. Clever in/out design too.

These are excellent circlip pliers. You get what you pay for! Clever design allows flipping a lever to use the plier for inside or outside circlips. Replaceable tip sizes too! You see China! If the tools are PROPERLY heat treated, they won't fail! This is why I will not buy ANY tools made in China. Why buy FOUR pliers when you can just buy one with changeable tips? Only buy pipe wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, hammers, wire cutters especially, and of course PLIERS that are MADE IN THE USA. Unfortunately, the US made power tools are so-so...

Works on 1" ring (barely)

Not sure if there is an explanation on the range of motion for this tool. When I was removing 1" outside ring I had to squeeze handles half way just to fit ends into ring and all the way to remove the ring. The ring barely made it out from the groove. May be needs some "stepped" ends for this to extend the range of motion like -|_

Great product slightly quirky

It’s a great product and I love that it is made in the USA but my only gripe with it is that the slight flex in the jaws due to them being reversible can sometimes cause the snap ring points to lose grip with a snap ring upon removal

Great tool

Do it. If u need snap ring pliers. Get these. One tool does it all. Dual ticket tradesman, wasted money on others. These are what u need . Obviously there are limits to what they can reach with short arms. But for almost every job I need. These are deadly.

Mehhhhhh. Invest into pliers that are better!

These are really not decent snap ring pliers. They dont habe enough clamping grip for snap rings that have a higher tension. I am a forklift technician and these dont stand up to the test of medium duty work.

I love Channellock!

I got these after working on a project that had a retaining ring. Trying to get out a ring without the proper tool was a pain. Of course I only wanted to get Channellock as they are my go-to brand for pliers of any type. These are solid feeling and will work great the next time I come across a retaining ring.

Very cheaply made

One of the replacement parts was defective and literally broke apart as soon as i inserted the piece. I thought buying the most expensive tool i would have a better product but not the case AT ALL... Very cheaply made and since i have passed the return date I'm stuck with a piece of garbage
