Finally, a thick sweatshirt for women! BUT...

I subtracted a star for the weird cut. The sleeves are huge, beginning too low, extending too long on my extra-long arms and cut so wide it is difficult to get a jacket over them. But the sweatshirt is thick, which is hard to find lately, and well put together, too. I bought a small based on various reviews that stated the sweatshirt would shrink. It didn't. I'm a size 4 - 6 on top -- with those extra long arms -- and I should have got an extra small. I think if I had a 40" chest this small would have just about fit.

Good quality, runs VERY small

I am usually a womens size small in most things, but sometimes I size up to a medium for an oversized look. I would expect a sweatshirt to already run large so I got a medium. Had to return it! It was far too small with narrow sleeves. I ended up getting this sweatshirt in a size Large from another retailer and LOVE the fit and quality. It's a cute cropped style, a little boxy around the waist but still flattering and feminine. Such a unique color!!! Good with high waisted pants/shorts/skirts. The fabric is thick and durable. Size up 2x.

Unless you are an extremely thin woman, this will run quite small

Overall, this is a nice sweatshirt. There are some things to be aware of. This is not your typical unisex sweatshirt. It is short waisted which means that it will not cover your bum. It will sit pretty much at your waist or maybe even a little above if you are an above average height woman. Also, it is cut quite slim for a sweatshirt so it's more fitted and not your typical baggy sweatshirt. None of this is a bad thing but it is a more fashion forward style and not typical and should be made even more clear in the description. The material is heavy sweatshirt material but still soft which is nice and the burgundy color is lovely. I gave it 4 stars only because even given the fact that it's cut for women, it does seem to me to run fairly small. I asked my very slim 105 lb, 5' 6" daughter and she agreed. You will want to go up at least one size with this sweatshirt particularly if you don't have a super slim frame.

Got the wrong one

Got a different one than what we ordered. Ended up with one that had champion written across the chest instead of just in the corner. Daughter still liked it. Fit her just right. She is 5'4" 100 lbs. it sits just at her waist, perfect length in the sleeves. So not really worth the effort of sending it back, she will still wear it.

On the shorter side

I like that it washes nice and doesn’t get those fuzzy balls and the color doesn’t appear to be fading. However it is rather boxy and a little shorter than I like for a sweatshirt. I bought my usual size small. I wouldn’t go any bigger as the arm length is a tad long. I think it is just the style. I am not sure it is accurately pictured, but perhaps the description mentioned the shorter length and I missed it. I don’t regret my purchase but I wouldn’t buy another one.

Beware: Sleeves are mismatched

As soon as I put it on I realized the sleeves are different styles. The left sleeve is snug, the right sleeve is quite loose. Not sure if this actually a true Champion sweatshirt or a knock off. Pretty odd and disappointing that the sleeves are different from each other. The pics might not show the difference but trust me, its noticeable.

Comfortable

The bottom edge is narrow down, so it is kind of wrap around the hip tightly. It was not bad, just not expected to be like that. If you want to wear some t-shirt inside and leave the edge out at the bottom as a mix&match, it may look weird since the outside sweatshirt is tight vs inside is loose. In general it is comfortable sweatshirt.

Perfect!

So happy with this! It is somewhat shorter - if not actually cropped. I wore it with high waisted joggers and it was so cute. It tapers and has almost raglan sleeves while so many other tops right now are a shapeless boxy cut. I’m also liking the bright yellow citron stitching’s 80s vibe.

Shrunk after washing

It was great when it arrived. I bought it because I have another lightweight champion sweater that I wear all the time. This one is a lot thicker. It also shrunk a size after one wash which is disappointing but luckily I bought it a size up.

Soft and light

It’s a snug fitting sweater. Size up if you want a baggy sweater.

Good quality

While I was very impressed by the quality, the fit was a little off for me. It was a little boxy and shorter than I expected (doesn't cover bum). I sent this one back but purchased another Champion pullover, which I am very pleased with!

A better size description would be a great help

I bought this sweatshirt and could not determine a correct size of it, I thought as an XL it would fit a uk 16 to 18 but was quite tight, on a positive the sweatshirt is great quality

Shorter in length than appears in the image

It’s shorter than what looks like on the model. The sleeves are true to size but the length is shorter. It barely covers my waist. So I would buy one size up. Also, after washer and dryer, it shrunk a little which made the length even shorter.
