Good Enough

This Catalina Lighting 23109-000 Whimsical Ceramic French Bulldog Table Lamp is a 15.5" White table lamp with the base that looks kinda sorta like a French Bulldog. As a Frenchie owner this was an unexpectedly awesome find that has for the most part been good enough even though it isn't all that useful outside of the novelty of the whole thing. Obviously this is meant to look like a French Bulldog and for the most part it accomplishes this, but some critics of this lamp that I live with have taken to insulting it as it looks "special" according to them. Pardon my french but these critics of this lamp are too dim to understand such a piece. Overall this is a fine novelty of a lamp that brings a grin to my face every time I see it, but to be honest it isn't quite useful outside of the novelty. 4/5 stars.

Fun and Whimsical Light the Way

I love this FUN whimsical Catalina Ceramic French Bulldog Table Lamp, 15.5" tall in white. It is most appropriate for smaller vignette like an accent lamp on a smaller table because of its small size. It is attractive and will go with most décor themes. It is well constructed and has a five foot cord and is of traditional switch style "on/off". I did not notice any type of discoloration in the glazing and firing of the ceramic body. It was a simple assembly where all I had to do was put on the shade. It takes up a small foot print where space is limited. In our bed and breakfast, it works well on a small table with a guest comment book.

Super Cute Frenchie Lamp!

We're big fans of French Bulldogs in our home and jumped at the chance to use this Frenchie lamp from Catalina Lighting. This lamp is incredibly cute and a great addition to our little boys' room. The lamp is reasonably sized measuring (approximately) 16" x 11". The porcelain Frenchie measures 7" tall from paw to the top of the ears. This lamp would easily fit on a nightstand or dresser. We placed a 9W LED lightbulb in the lamp and it works without any problems. The switch is the toggle variety rather than a twist-type and easy for our 5-year-old to turn on/off. Overall, if Frenchies are your thing, you likely won't be disappointed in this lamp. Recommended!
