This is a tea pot, not a kettle, as is clear if one carefully reads the description...

I purchased this understanding that it is a tea pot, not a kettle. Some reviewers failed to thoroughly read the description...and have left bad reviews after attempting to use it as a kettle./ I received my little (1 quart) tea pot today. It holds a true four liquid cups with a little room at the top to spare. It was easy to clean with hot water and a drop or two of mild soap./ I have used it throughout the day, making several pots of tea, and am thrilled with it. I purchased it to replace a tea cup that has a diffuser and lid, because I was wasting tea bags and ending up with a second cup of weak tea. With this pot, I have three or four evenly brewed cups with one or two little bags, depending on the type of tea./ The only con seems to be that the tea seems to cool a bit more than I'd like before I've finished it./ I absolutely recommend this little tea pot. And the price point is great. I saw the very same pot at my local global market selling for $24.99, which is nearly double the cost. Just buy it.

Smaller than advertised

This teapot has a lovely color. It is very hot to touch when filled. It is considerably smaller than advertised. I only use it for myself, so I don't mind. It would be wholly inadequate if I needed it for additional tea drinkers.

Not the same as in photo

In the photo, the teapot was round, with a round lid topper, a small metal strip on the bottom, and a light tangerine color. Mine came as a tapered teatop, with an oblong topper, a large metal strip on the bottom, and the color of an orange crush soda can. It had a few scratches on the enamel from where the lid sat during transit. But, it is still cute and the perfect size for a small cup or two for afternoon tea. I prefer the one in the Amazon photo, but this will do.

Nice Kettle

My daughter loved this kettle for Christmas. We didn’t expect it to be so small. But the 1.6 quart ended up being the right size for her and her husband. Pay attention to the sizes if you plan to buy one.

Tea time

Perfect size for me. I do wish it whistled when the water boils. The lid is a bit off centered, and easy to get burned with. The handle is extremely difficult to move. I feel that it’s slightly overpriced.

Be careful the material is cheap so don’t burn yourself

Smaller than expected can only heat up cup and half worth of water But for the price I’m very happy it’s adorable compact I love it!

Bought as a gift but am disappointed, the box says stainless steel but not the kettle. Smaller than I thought. Regret picking this one.

Well made unit

This is a great little tea kettle / pot to serve 1-2 people. The lid diameter is a bit too small so cleaning is not as easy as it could have been. Otherwise, this is a well made unit at a reasonable price.

Very small but practical for office desk. Keeps my tea warm and it fills 2 cups.

I don't heat this on the stove it's too fragile - I pour boiling water into it with my tea and so I have 2 cups of tea for my afternoon at my desk. Keeps tea pretty warm for a bit.
