Major points for awesomeness and absurdity

Oh my! This sweater makes quite the impression. I was explaining the "ugly Christmas sweater" to my kids, and one of them loved the idea. We went to amazon to look for one he liked, and sure enough, there were lots to choose from. This one grabbed our attention because it is less "ugly" and more downright COOL. Yep, the Batman touches are fantastic, and the cityscape wraps all around the sweater. For a boy or young man, this whole design balances the absurdity of ugly Christmas sweaters, but with good taste and extra "awesome" factor. When the sweater came, it ran a bit large, but not bad. Then, to my surprise, I realized it LIT UP. No, not the signal in the sky (the reindeer signal), but colored lights throughout the city down below light up. There's a small compartment on the inside by the waist with a switch. This sent my young guy over the top; the sweater added an extra layer of tackiness and awesomeness, no doubt about it. As a whole, then, I recommend the sweater. I take half a star off for running large, then another half for impracticality. How do you WASH a sweater with bulbs sewn into it? I have no idea. Let's hope he doesn't spill any nog on it. Nonetheless, I think your little guy will enjoy this sweater, especially if they're a Batman fan or want their own, awesome "ugly" Christmas sweater.

Liked it fine

Over all it is a cute sweater, I was obviously in a hurry and didn’t realize this was a BOYS sweater when I got it for my 11yo daughter who normally wears a 12/14, so it was pretty big on her (my bad). (It’s Super boxy). But, quality was fine and if I had ordered a smaller size for her, it might have fit better. I would buy this brand again for a Christmas sweater.

Average quality, good design, colors, and excellent service

I would have given it a 5, but the quality is not the best. As a sweater, it can sit better on the figure. It is a little baggy and the knit could be neater (no pun intended). The sweater arrived fast. The design and colors are exact, which is a plus. My son wears walmart-bought unform size L 10-12, so medium was good for him, even slightly bigger than that. I think he is gonna wear it next Christmas too. In general i am very satisfied with my purchase. (I also purchased L size, and i have returned it for free for a full refund with no problems, great company, thanks!)

Nice, but a bit small in the torso

My daughter wanted a llama Christmas sweater. We looked all over the place and couldn't find one in her size in any brick and mortar stores. Finding this sweater was a lifesaver! She normally wears a 10, but we ordered a size up figuring it would fit her next year too. The sleeves were a little bit long (which I expected), but I feel it was a bit short in the torso. It worked well, but next year when the sleeves fit I will probably have to sew a little lace or something to the bottom to extend it to cover the torso region!

I won the company "ugly sweater" holiday contest with it.

It fits a bit small (duh, buying teen boys' sizing is confusing), but I wear a women's size 4/S and this fit perfectly. I wore it for a company holiday "ugly swear" party, and let me tell you, EVERYONE loves the barfing polar bear. It was a way more original design than all of those llama shirts that became stupidly popular this year. This one is a winner. Also, the bear's cute! I liked to tell my coworkers that he'd had a little too much of the spirit of Christmas and is barfing up the rest. Anyway, great shirt. Wish I could wear it more, but this is definitely for novelty purposes only.

The Christmas sweater with a cheeky open secret

This sweater is cute and subtly funny. Without looking closely, when worn it appears to be a pretty Christmas sweater with a polar bear and a small xmas tree sort of thing. My son and I loved the fact that it was actually bear vomit (though no one seemed to notice this unless we pointed it out), and the twinkly Christmas lights in it made it all that much more fun. We entered the holiday party ugly Christmas sweater contest together and our team of two WON!

Fun for preteen

Mostly great but threads keep coming out and one of the lights was sticking out with it wire from the sweater. However my 12 year old loves it.

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs so I got him this Christmas sweater for the kid's Christmas program. It was a HUGE hit. Good quality and much better than I expected.
