Purchased for my mother. She had been looking for a necklace with a blue stone. She needs a 16 inch chain and can't ware silver. The stone is much lighter than pictured, more of a aquamarine color and not sapphire color pictured, which was what she has been looking for. She really loved it. It looks great with the blouse she was wearing, a soft green and white plaid with a hint of blue.

So pretty

Loved this necklace so much, bought it (and the matching earrings) in all three colors (blue, pink and green). Wish it came in yellow, too! They are very pretty and sparkly. The size is perfect, small rather than large, yet big enough to reflect the light. There is also a matching bracelet. Recommend getting a set with the necklace, earrings and bracelet for yourself, or as a really nice gift.

Not as pictured

I was really excited for this necklace but I was disappointed--it's different than pictured. The stone is much lighter in color and larger in person, and the chain looks kind of like a dull antique bronze in the picture, but it's actually a very bright and shiny gold. Additionally, I thought that the stone would be see-through, but there is a gold backing to it so it just looks like a giant rhinestone, which is also overall much shinier and gaudier in person. It was so cheap, I might still keep it, but I'm not sure.

used to by 1928 jewelry for all the women in my life. bought a few pieces for my wife years ago and then couldn't find the brand here in town. ran across email from amazon about this piece and bought it immediately!!
