Excellent Ballet Shoes!

This is the 2nd pair I have bought for my daughter and she loves them! The pair she currently has are really dirty from the dance floor, so I bought these for her to have for the recital!

Fit very wide, true to size in length

I read the reviews, so I ordered the narrow since my daughter has pretty slender feet - Well, these ballet shoes are still loose like socks around her foot. Fortunately the elastric strap holds the shoe in place and it'll be just fine for amateur ballet needs. The leather is supple and overall the shoe is as expected, just... oddly loose.

Size up!

I has to rebuy them and size up. First ones for extremely small, bought next size up and they fit perfect.

Runs too small

The quality is excellent, but they were at least two sizes smaller than normal, despite the fact that we bought the normal size

SIZE UP!

Do not listen to the people in the reviews stating to buy their normal shoe size. Definitely size up at by at least 1-1.5! Not understanding why the sizes are so small.

True to size!!

Due to reviews....I ordered a size up for my 5 year old daughter. She has just started wearing a size 10, we ordered an 11M. Sizing up was Not the right decision. The width was fine- she has a pretty typical "medium" width foot now that she is older & these were fine in that regard, if not a little loose. However, they were Definitely at least a sz too large for her. Much too long. My advice: order their current size OR order a couple pairs in different sizes if you are concerned & return what doesn't work As a former dancer (& a daughter of such as well), I do know how these should fit her feet. If she were older, she should not have extra space in the shoe. Since she is still growing, a little space is okay, if not preferred. However, it's obvious that ordering a size up in these leaves them much too long & will cause her to trip, etc. I should have followed Capezio's own sizing guidelines, rather than the reviews here, as they list these as being true to size. They are correct in our experience. Ordering her current street shoe size will still leave a bit of room at the end of the toes for growth, but will not be so long they are hazardous. The quality of these ballet slippers is excellent. Granted, I've always been a bit partial to Capezio.. This Daisy style is a little less flat than the classic Teknik's, if you are familiar with those. I think this Daisy style is excellent for little girls like mine whose feet are a little thicker up and down (if that makes since- not width, but actual thickness) than some. I may even order a pair for myself. The pink is classic & beautiful. The lining is cute & feels comfortable. The name tag inside is a great touch, though I am a little concerned as to whether or not they will cause a little irritation upon dancing. I will update if they Do. The edging does not rub her heel/ankle when cinched. The full sole is just as expected and nice. The leather is soft but durable & not too thin nor too thick. These really are quite lovely! These are a great buy & I do not forsee any problems with these in her correct size. However, Do order in their current street shoe size first...

Packaging is terrible!

Once again, another Amazon order that is poorly packaged. The shoes themselves are fine, but the box they came in was torn and smashed. I had to throw the box away and buy a generic box in order to gift these.

Beautiful shoes, tricky to size correctly.

Beautiful high quality ballet shoes. Tricky to fit so measure your child's feet and compare that exactly then add a size.

V Good quality!

Quality of the leather is good and with the additional strings they can be adjusted to fit the feet snugly. Overall very good shoe.

Wrong sizing

Speedy delivery and nice little shoe with sturdy elastic but I ordered a size 9 , received a size 8.5 and this came up far too small. The return process was very easy but as the sizings are so far out I am going to have to buy my granddaughter's ballet shoes from somewhere where she can try them on.

These are the cutest ever!!! My toddler was a flower girl and they were perfect. They do fit very snug but I’m sure they would stretch with continuous use. Capezieo is always great quality
