Terrible customer support

Faucet will not stay in the closed position. Called support line and sent emails to customer support. Still no resolution on the case.

Nice faucet

I like this faucet but still undecided if it's worth the cost. My last house I had a Delta touchless faucet that had magnets for when the head retracted it would attach really well. This one has a weighted ball on the pipe underneath the sink to help keep it retracted. Sometimes it doesn't stay when I push it back up and it will dangle a little bit till I wiggle it and then it pops back into place. It's not the worst, but for the price you would think magnets would be just as easy as a weight. I do like the look of it and the functionality is good also. American Standard is a good brand with good quality. I would recommend this faucet if you don't find a quality one in the same price range with magnets.

High quality.

American Standard's Raviv Faucet is very nicely made from dense and robust feeling metal. It looks and feels like a quality faucet. The chrome finish is brilliant and flawlessly done. The included soap dispenser is made from plastic, but is a nice addition and works well. The handle to adjust the flow and temperature of water moves smoothly and has a pleasant feel in use. The pull out sprayer is easy to remove and dock and the spray setting is powerful enough to make cleaning crusty dishes easy. There is also a pause button on the spray head for quickly stopping the flow of water. That is helpful when you are filling a measuring cup. The faucet has a simple and elegant design. It is timeless and should work well with most aesthetics. I did not install the faucet, but my plumber had no issues putting it in. All in all... a great faucet.

Goodbye old faucet. Hello Swivel Faucet with built in sprayer with good clearance.

Soap dispenser. Upper pump dispenser matches the look of the faucet. Very light weight, all under counter parts are plastic. Tube, bottle and threaded nut. Quick setup. Attach the black rubber washer to the top pump section. Insert into sink opening. The top pump section can swivel. Attach and secure bottom with the threaded bolt from under the sink. Hand tighten. Add soap to the white plastic bottle and then screw onto the post from underneath the sink. Using the soap dispenser. One pump will get plenty of soap onto a dish towel or sponge. No leaking, or dripping. Easily move the pump arm to the left or right when inserting say a big pot into the sink. Faucet. Picked the stainless steel version. Hoses are at a perfect length. No extra extension hoses needed. 28" cold and hot lines, metal braided. 42" Sprayer line, also metal braided. Also another 6" connect. Installing faucet. Tools needed: Phillips Screwdriver with a long shaft, channel lock, adjustable wrench, and Basin Wrench. I'll be attaching without the plate. The small round black seal will need to go around the lines coming out of the bottom of the faucet. The bottom of the faucet is a small channel that the seal will go into. Does not seem to stay in place, making it difficult to set the faucet into the sink opening. Used to small dots worth of plumbers putty to hold the seal in place. Underneath the sink attach the black washer, silver washer and then the locknut around the hoses. Hand tighten. Great time to use the basin wrench, then add the 3 phillips screws. Tighten with the phillips screwdriver. Attach the cold and hot lines, hand tighten then a slight tighten with a wrench. Connect both of the sprayer hose ends. Has a locking collar, push until it clicks into place. Look for the two stickers on this line, they indicate where to center the weight and attach. Very user friendly. Run the tests from the instructions. Turning on the hot and cold one at a time and checking for leaks. Step 6 "test installed faucet" With handle in the off position, remove the sprayer by unthreading by hand. Running each the cold and hot. This may be to flush any debris from the line itself. Turn off faucet and reconnect sprayer by hand tightening. After test sprayer for leaks. Overall usage. The weight on the sprayer line does a perfect job of keeping the sprayer at the length of where you pull it out too. When pushing back up to the home position, it goes into place with no issues. The faucet has a nice smooth easy to use handle. Pushing handle back will get you hot water, and pulling handle forward is cold water. Left is off and the more you go right the more water that comes out. The sprayer has only two button, a small pause button at the top and a two way button. The two way button is a solid spray in the down position and clicking up will make a stream or (aerated) The stream will stay a stream only if you have enough pressure, if the faucet is on low, you will need to hold the stream button in while using. If you have good pressure with the faucet handle you can then switch from spray to stream on the sprayers big button. Cleaning off takes only a moment with a dry kitchen towel. The main faucet can easily be moved left or right. As I have a wall only a few inches away, I can go all the way to the wall if needing to get it out of the way. Unlike my old faucet that was just always in the way. The reach when sprayer is attached is a little over 8 inches. A good 10 inches of clearance while sprayer is attached. The soap dispenser has a little over an inch of clearance. Very satisfied with this American Standard Faucet and would recommend. Great appearance and very good build. Has a lifetime warranty.
