Size runs true

Good product for price. Very lightweight, good workout shirt. Probably too thin if you just want a fashionable tank but perfect for workouts.

Not bad, not great

Bought three of these. They're comfortable, fit pretty, inexpensive. Unfortunately, after only 2-3 workouts per shirt, all three have started unraveling along the folds around the neck, arms, or waist. The stitching in these areas just isn't strong enough to endure tough workouts. I'd recommend spending a bit more for better quality.

Lightweight And Soft

Review of Amazon Essentials Men's Performance Tech Racerback Vest (XX-Large, Grey Heather) I am not sure if this really should be called a vest as this is more of a shirt although not what is commonly called an athletic t-shirt. Raceback means that the back is more of a strap exposing the shoulder blades down to the middle of the back. I received the heather grey version and the seller’s images accurately show the color pattern. Overall sizing seems to be correct for a standard fit. However, I found this to be on the short side and therefore easily rides up to expose the waist. Laundry instructions are machine wash cold, do not use fabric softener, use only non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry low, do not dry clean. Very lightweight and smooth inside and out. Not sure that this will last for years but seems to have adequate stitching and construction for now.

Super lightweight, comfortable to wear, a little on the short side

My husband wears shirts like this when he works out. The more lightweight, the better! He doesn't like anything that is constricting or made of heavy fabric. He is quite muscular and normally wears a size large in most shirts. He has very broad shoulders and muscular arms so some shirts can fit him oddly. The Amazon Essentials Performance Tech Racerback Vest is SUPER lightweight and comfortable. The arm cutouts are low enough that they allow for breathability but not low enough that they expose your entire body. (like the retro tank tops with arm cutouts down to your waist, LOL) The arm cutouts also help prevent deodorant from getting all over the shirt. As for fit, I would say that it's pretty true to size. It fits my husband well, not too tight or too loose. The only issue that he had is that it's a little on the short side. Not a huge deal since he is only going to wear it to work out in but if you are wearing it as a main piece of clothing, the length may be an issue if you prefer longer length shirts. If my husband raises his arms, you can see his stomach. If he went up to an XL, it would be too loose. The material does help keep him dry and cool during his workouts.

Great workout shirt

I ordered this for my son and it has quickly become one of his go-to workout shirts. It's a very lightweight fabric that breathes well. However, the quality seems durable enough that it won't pull or snag and ruin the fabric.

comfortable but a little short in abdomen

My husband wears this to gym and likes the color and back style of it. It's a nice breathable fabric that dries quickly. Well made. However, despite it fitting well in the shoulders and arms, and being one size larger than he wears (I got an XL and he wears a L), if he lifts up his arms this rises up and shows his stomach. So to me that's a little awkward. Should be longer.

Very thin and lightweight

This tank is very thin and lightweight. It's soft, too, so it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a shirt. This is perfect for the summer and for workouts. Very comfortable and sized well.
