I bought this dress to wear while having a PET/CT SCAN, as instructions said, "Wear something loose," which excludes jeans or elastic waist garments. At about 174 #s, and now only about 5' tall, it touched the floor slightly, so I wore a cloth belt to keep it off the floor until ready for the scan. The sleeves looked becoming, but they don't allow you to raise your arms above your head, which they wanted. It might have been possible if we had hitched the dress high off the shoulders while getting onto the very narrow, high table one has to lie on, but I hadn't expected that and so that proved a complication. I thought the side slits were a little too high for me, but I suspect I looked a little strange, anyway, with my white compression knee high stockings and flat, lace shoes. I topped it off (before and after the scan) with a light weight, long tailed, extra large , multi patterned/striped/checked shirt of multi blues/brown/gray, for which I was thankful, as the hospital waiting room, with widely spaced seating, and everyone wearing masks, was cold. I haven't decided yet if I will hem it up a little shorter and wear it at home, the side slits are a problem if you like to sit in a recliner, or you need to use a bathroom, or you have to have a scan and they want to put a pillow under your knees. Those are things I doubt clothes designers think about. I liked the bergandy (rust) color.
