A wee bit short, so order larger.
I love Alternative Apparel t-shirts. More importantly my husband does too. He is a handy man and it seems like every shirt we buy him gets covered in paint, dirt, grossness. He is reticent to buy t-shirts for non-workwear. I finally said enough is enough and bought him all new shirts. He had an Alternative Apparel tshirt from years ago which he has worn so long that it was getting a little questionable. So when I went back on the hunt to build out his wardrobe, I didn't hesitate for a single second and found a bunch of Alternative Apparel t-shirts on Amazon. Now I read all the reviews and I have to say I disagree with most of the naysayers. What you need to know is that yes, this is a company for hipsters and youngsters, we are neither. Why would we buy their stuff? 1. Is is the softest shirt ever. EVER. 2. They last forever. They may get worn in, but isn't that what you want in a favorite t-shirt? 3. The color options are great. 4. They have larger sizes for a huskier man. So what do you need to know? Order a bit bigger. If you are an XL and want a little room...do not hesitate to get XXL. My husband has a belly, because we are old and because he does. The only beef we have is when you dry the shirts they get a little bit shorter. No worries...we just put them on a dry rack and the problem is solved. If I had one suggestion to Alternative Apparel - Make a "tall" version that gives an additional inch or so for the fellas that need a little more cover. Other than that, we will continue to buy their shirts as long as they make them.

So, I'll start and say the shirt is great. Fits well, has good length, soft yet decently substantial material and seems well made. My review is more focused on the seller, Best Basics Plus, and their exceptional level of customer service. When I received the shirt, I realized I had one that was essentially the same color/size/style and just didn't have a need for it like I thought. So, I decided to return it. Amazon gave me the run around saying it wasn't "Prime" (though I'm certain it was) and essentially said I needed to pound sand. They pushed me off to Nikki @ Best Basics Plus and I thought I was in for another brush off. However, I still asked and wanted to see what Best Basics Plus could do. I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say Best Basics Plus provided the best customer services I've ever received on Amazon.Com (and really beyond what I've come to expect at even high-end retailers). They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase, so much so that I just decided to keep the shirt. I've never once been so adamant to get my money back, had the reseller agree to help me out but been so impressed by their level of customer service that I just decided to keep the item to support their business. This is all over a $15 shirt mind you. Their level of customer service was incredible and I'll be trying to buy as many items from them as possible because of it.

This shirt has been a good addition to my collection
I am a guy who mostly wears jeans and fitted t-shirts, and I have a hard time finding shirts that fit the way I want without being too expensive. This shirt has been a good addition to my collection. The material of this shirt is light and extremely comfortable, with plenty of stretch. It is softer than my other shirts, and on close inspection, the fabric is slightly ribbed, which adds to its stretch. The shirt fits well without making me feel l am auditioning for a spot on the cast of Jersey Shore. I am 6' tall and about 180 lbs., and a large fits me perfectly. The sleeves fit well and come about mid way down my biceps, which is just where I want them. The only criticism I have for this shirt is that the collar is a little thicker and more pronounced than what one usually sees on a crew neck T-shirt. It isn't gigantic, and it may grow on my, but I did notice it immediately the first time I put it on. It is still a great looking shirt, but that is one odd detail that I am not sure I love.

Great Semi-Fitted Tee
I bought this for my husband with the intention of ironing on a custom decal/transfer. I wanted something that he would wear to the gym, so it had to be semi-fitted in the arms and chest so he could silently "show off," This did the trick. It didn't come with any hang tags or stickers, which I found a little odd, but I could tell it was new from the crispness of the fold and feel of the fabric itself. The fit a bit wider/boxy in the lower torso area than the product image shows, but I think the upper fit in the photo is pretty accurate and was what we expected. It has a very nice heather red color which I think is also true to the image. The look is almost 'vintage' and the shirt has a soft feel without the thread bare look. I washed it immediately upon receiving before he wore it, so I can't speak to whether it shrunk a lot initially, but since the initial wash, it hasn't shrunk during laundry cycles. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up others in different colors.

A great T that could be greater
I'm a fan of Eco's tshirt products. I like the relative thinness of the fabric, shows off any hard work you've done improving your chest and midsection. My only reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars are the tendency for the neck to be a little more stretched out than it should (not a problem if you've got a relatively thick neck I suppose), and the sleeves could be a shard tighter on the biceps for my taste. Or I guess I can just get bigger biceps. For reference: ordered medium, fits snug but not tight on 42" chest, 5'9" tall and the T hits top of hip.

I like this brand but I got a different size & color from what I ordered
I have purchased 7 items in this brand over the last few months, including 3 sweaters size S, 3 t-shirts & 1 tank. The sweaters fit great. This was the first t-shirt I ordered. I ordered a yellow and I got a grey but I kept it because I like the camouflage neck, the Ivory fits great and I just got the Red but its an XS instead of a S. I'll just give it away because I can't be bothered with returning.

Way too big, returning it
Way too large. I usually wear a ladies 14. In all other tshirts (Hanes, Gildan, Adidas) I order an XL and they always fit. This is absolutely ginormous! It's not at all a ladies fit either. It a boxy men's style. I'll be returning it.
